I thought that might happen, almost lost his last fight, 16 months without fight, turns up to weigh in 6 Lbs underweight which is more or less a weight class below, getting older also

Yeah inactivity was my concern 1 fight in 2 years and a couple of injuries inbetween. Clearly not the same fighter he was when he beat Ramirez.

Not sure what he does next tbh.

Nah, Taylor is too skilled for Teo

This aged badly... Teo was far superior in that ring and considering he's coming off that poor performance against Sandor Martin and his personal issues, that was one hell of a performance.
That's back-to-back losses (in reality) for Taylor. Time to move up.

Taylor released a classy statement.

Well… ****!

Not the result I was looking for last night. No excuses here, the better man won on the night. I had a great training camp was performing really well in the gym. I felt I started well & just faded away & strayed from the game plan. I want to say a huge thank you to my team, my nutritionist/S&C coach, Carl evens & especially Joe McNally & Declan O’rourke for getting me in fantastic shape and giving me a great training camp, the best I’ve had. They’re not just a team, they’re friends for life.

Thank you to everyone for the support last night especially everyone who travelled over and spent their hard earned money to come and support me.

Congratulations to Team Lopez on a good job, enjoy the victory.

Thank you to all.

I’LL BE BACK”

Speaking of the mafia/mob, it made me think of this.

These two are really entertaining, one of the few YT channels I'm a supporter of, but this was a really good episode and lets you see the side of boxing we all know is clearly there but unable to see it properly

Another Taylor statement. Kind of expected it tbh he put 16 pounds of weight on within a day of the weigh in which kind of confirms it. He should’ve done it after becoming undisputed as he’s clearly outlived the division. Love to see the Caterell rematch take place next at 147.

By the championship rounds I had zero energy left. I was fit enough, I was in impeccable shape but I was just exhausted.”

“I think my days at 140 are well and truly finished. I’ve been knocking on the door of moving up for the last couple of years, and I think I’ve just been to the well too many times at 140.”

“I’ll be moving up to welterweight for the rest of my career now, that will be much more comfortable.”

Not of that episode but it's well worth listening to

Another long one, Hatman did a video on Tyson maybe 4 or 5 years ago. That's worth checking out but it's 2 hours long
Yeah I struggle with having the time to watch such a long clip. I’ll see if I can make time to watch it.

Sky reduced to showing York Hall fights... Frazer Clarke...

Why do they not filter out the background noise when the pundits are talking?? They tend to talk nonsense anyway, mind.

Sky have the money but I'm not convinced Shalom/Boxxer has the brains... They're potentially putting Buatsi vs Azeez on in Bournemouth.... make it make sense.

WBC continue to out-do themselves. They are no longer calling a mandatory for Fury... Let this sink in.. Since 2015 the only two heavyweight mandatory fights for the WBC have been Wilder vs Stirverne 2 and Fury vs Whyte. How that belt is held to such a regard is baffling to me. IBF are turning into my favourite sanctioning body, low bar though

John Gotti iii wanting a rematch after saying they were enemies for life and his sister basically threatened Mayweathers kids.

I hope he and his entire family are never even allowed inside a boxing venue again.

Lol, I always find it funny when people try and start a fight after they were legally allowed to punch each other in the face. Were was that 'dog' in you when you were backed up by a sweet hook from Floyd.

It makes me think of one of Eubank Jr's fight where he accused his opponent of quitting and then they wanted to fight again

I've lost interest in boxing recently. Beterbiev and Bivol seem like the two best boxers and personalities out there. The rest of the top fighters and promoters just seem like bum holes, it's all just a merry go round.

Usyk seems decent too from what I've seen.
