It's mostly the heavyweight division which is causing headaches at the moment as it seems to have a champion who wants to talk about fighting but wont actually fight.

We're getting P4P: #1/2 vs #4/5 next month when Spence vs Crawford happens and we also have another P4P fighter in Inoue vs Fulton coming up soon. Just had a great fight with Lopez vs Taylor, earlier in the year Wood vs Lara was a good fight too. If you ignore the heavyweights, it's been a great year.

He has. Though I think when you're at Caenlo's level, you don't really need a promoter, not in the traditional sense. He's just going where the fights are for Charlo but also where the fights are not as it looks like he really doesn't want to get back in the ring with Bivol. Especially as Bivol is like "Nah, let me come to your weightclass and take your belts". Canelo needs to fight both Bivol and Benavidez for me.

Fair points. Loma Haney was a decent/high quality fight.

I watched Toney RJJ earlier, mismatch of styles but even then, that must have been prime RJJ? Pin point accuracy and lightning speed, insane movement and ring/boxing IQ. I'm ashamed to say I've not see many of his fights... Need to watch some more. Toney was good in his own right? Was champ for quite some time?

Lights out James Toney? Definitely watch some of his fights, his defence was brilliant. They say you shouldn't really bend at the waist/hip when fighting but Toney didn't get that memo. So slick.

You can never tell in boxing, especially with rematches. I would not write off JJ, he probably feels he can beat Zhang in the 2nd half of a fight.

For sure though he will need better defence, Zhang can hit too hard to take them over and over. JJ got away with poor defence upto that fight.

Acting like a right ****.

Needed the ref give him an early stoppage. In fairness it was looking like he was about to end it. Took his time as well, which given his showboating, is sub par IMO.
