Great race. I expect they'll swap the positions over, although he had it happen to him in the earlier race and nothing came of it.

Massive risk. I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get a swear fest :D

Just waiting for a fist to come flying in during this Plato interview...

Gotta be the first lockup I've ever seen that started 200m before the braking zone and involved absolutely zero tyre smoke :D

Awesome last race I was expecting them to nudge the safety car out the way. Plato is dirty but Shedden should have got his finger out. He could have won that race, the Focus was arl ower the shop.

I might have really gone off Plato in the last couple of years, but you have to admit the guys got speed.

I went the other way. In the old days I thought he was a racing thug, even by the agricultural standards of the time. Of course he still is, but I think he's good value both in and out of the car and properly quick.

It was a bad move on a dithering Shed though. Shame it wasn't Matt Neal instead. :D

Another great weekend from BTCC and good on Matt Jackson. WTCC was quite an interesting watch this weekend too for a change.

Agreed, in the good old days John Cleland would have put you on your roof if you tried to hold him up like that. And you would have got a shake of the fist to add insult to injury!

Just finished watching race 2 from the WTCC. Still a Chevvy walkover, but some good racing. That Morocco track looks truly terrible on paper, but always produces some good action. The Auto GP races were good too.

What was with the WTCC Fords? They were nowhere in Valencia, yet were right up there and even on pole today?

Wait... What?

Matt Jackson has been disqualified from race 3 for turbo overboost.
Shedden wins race 3 and Plato still 2nd.

Plato leads the championship.

Seriously, Plato gets a 2 second penalty for deliberately punting a competitor off the track? Even attempted it with another driver earlier in the day too, but that time it went all kinds of wrong for him. :D

Can't really blame plato for losing it with shedden, you could see he was intentionally weaving about and blocking him.

Something was going to happen sooner or later, both of them took the mick mind.

And this is why i love btcc :D

They've made a few alterations and as they've said all weekend the car is really suited to the track as it bounces really well over the high kerbs there. Both cars have made good progress which hopefully is a sign of things to come. They're still not quite quick enough to hold off the chevys though unfortunately although from the next race the suspension will be right meaning they lose the weight penalty and they have plastic windows and other things to fit.
