When is it arriving?
hey,
been looking for a new phone recently,
but nothing surprised me, except the force touch technology in huawei and apple and curved display, but they are too expensive for me
so i thought to hold on for next year till more phones adopt it and becomes cheaper, but i need something now to ditch my blackberry 8520, and yes i still have one of those
what are your thoughts for a cheap phone under £80? cheaper the better, as it only meant to last a year/ one and half year
what chinese retailers do you recommend as well?
i looked at gearbest, but most reviews show that they fake reviews, and giztop doesnt have any, plus efox has low reviews
ps: dual sim is a plus, but i can survive with a single for year if it needs to be
For anyone who buys a redmi note 2 you really need to just download this rom and flash it. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347811823 No Chinese bloatware, google installed and it runs great, knocks the antutu scrore down to about 44k but everything else seems fine, so just install what you need from google.
I've just ordered a Meizu M2 (also known as the M2 mini) - http://www.oppomart.com/phones/meizu-m2.html
A few people on here, me included, have gone for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 - http://www.oppomart.com/xiaomi/redmi-note2/xiaomi-redmi-note-2.html
Amazing for the price.
Read back a few pages as some people posted their thoughts on it.
You can also look on this website for some lesser known brands - http://www.kimovil.com/en/
interesting enough i was just thinking about the m2, is the note version worth the extra £30 or so? and the xioami the extra £15? and the prime version another £20 on top of xiaomi
thx
I went for the M2 for the wife as it's a bit smaller, she didn't want a note style 'phablet' and I went for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 because it's a great spec for the money, especially after having a shi7ty Blackberry for the last few years.
You said budget as the main factor so I'd forget the prime Xiaomi and look at these 2 - http://www.kimovil.com/en/compare/meizu-m2-note-16gb,xiaomi-redmi-note-2-2gb-16gb - unless you want the smaller M2.
seeing oppomart, the total, with redmi 16gb+ shipping comes with £120 any other websites?
This seems to have disappeared..
Or is this the recommended rom?

Recommended seller from someone on here but it's pretty much the same price.
Thanks for the link.
It's showing my phone should be 4G ready but I tried to test it with a recent PAYG EE sim from my wife and does not show as 4g
Should the EE sim be 4G ready or need activation?
Phone is LG F240K - Band 3 and 8. I 've tried selecting from the service menu (was on automatic)
Check on the EE site if your area is covered.
