I'm getting one of those Gigabyte P965 DS3 MoBos to review later this week. Hopefully, it'll be stable at more than 400 x 7

Mister e6300 goes by the name of allen I think he meant, connie doesnt do the higher fsb even on that board apparently.

Iam not that surprised the smaller cache chips go to higher fsb personally, the semprons with tiny cache also seem to clock much better then their big brothers even on the other side

Well if we are being picky then yeah allendale. Its still a connie with half it's cache disabled and called a conroe in the oc sales section. Im sorry it upset him..

Which was the point of my post, I said KITT could get upto 483 fsb as he has the 2mb cache connie.. whoops allendale.

Out of interest what are the E6600 clocking like on average?

I wonder how high a e6400 will go on that board just using air cooling, not all the way to 500 I guess. Have you tried it just on air Kitt?

Intel Bad Axe Rev 302

Skilty is not a happy bunny, opened my Intel Bad Axe so I get ready to fit into my case and look at the revision number and it is 302!!! Did anybody else get a 302 board instead of 304? I was under the impression they all got sent back to the supplier...

Sigh, so here I am having Dremel'd my case (Gigabyte Aurora) to remove the hard drive cage at the bottom for better airflow, installed the pump and fill port and no motherboard arghhhhhhhh!!!

Girlfriend off out with her friends, thing is built but waiting for an OS... so I'm going to be home about 6.15 and putting the rest of it together!

Yeah I know but I guess with that many boards coming and going out its hard to check every single one. Anyway it will be going back today or tomorrow! Just my luck!!!
