Although they're sold by OcUK the warranty is still handled by Dell so yes I think that should still apply. Btw it's zero bright pixels, not zero dead pixels, so it's not a 'perfect screen' guarantee, you could still have a few dead subpixels and backlight bleed and technically Dell could refuse to change it, although based on the posts I've seen here over the last few years, they usually try to keep their customers happy (and you've always got the DSRs to fall back on).Are we still be covered by the 'zero dead pixel' aspect of the warranty when buying from OcUK ? I just don't see it in the description in the OcUK shop, whereas it is on Dell's official page for the 2408.. I thought that might be a major selling point ?
Whats the diff between "S-PVA" and a "S-IPS" panel as ive read that this is a "S-PVA" panel.
Whether it's correct or not, this monitor is listed as an S-IPS panel by a competitor.
Any info on 1:1 pixel mapping - or will we have to wait for the reviews?
Fingers crossed, this could finally be the 24" I buy!
On Wikipedia it states that it has a Samsung S-PVA panel, does anybody know if it's the same panel as the Samsung SM-245T?
