Is anyone else finding the strike playlist to be less 'random' than it should be? I usually find I alternate between 2 strikes a day and I rarely ever see the other strikes. Yesterday it was the Vex Hydra boss and the Psion Flayer one. I did 25+ strikes(trying to get my exotic bounty done) and those 2 seemed to pop up around 9+ times each, then I had the moon strike 3 or so times and the Earth strike once. For over a day I've had a bounty for the other Mars strike and I still haven't managed to complete it, I really should have gotten it by now.

I seem to be destined to be lv25 forever now, the only legendaries I get are for weapons I don't even want to use and I've played this game a ridiculous amount of hours in total:p

Still waiting to play I picked it up last Tuesday , got home and the Internet was down and still is :( ... Just glad I've got diablo 3 to keep me going offline until net comes back on !

Yup, I'd say 95% of my strikes were the moon one or the vex one, 5% for the rest.

So I have hit level 20 and half way through that level with light, What would I need to be doing...at the moment I am completing bounties and increasing my Vanguard Rep (Rank 1 atm). I started to use the strike playlist and thats about it really.

Am I doing it right? I am currently doing the level 20 strike matchmaking one.

With the factions is that just for PvP? I only dip in and out of that so would I be better just doing the PvE side of things?

Do it however you like really, your character is the same for PvE and PvP so it doesn't really matter how you get your XP. The XP you do get will add to your total so PvE will build up your level in the factions too. As for building up your levels, as you know you need to get armous with light but the only sure fire way I know of to get higher iteams is to buy them. Loot boxes, engrams and after PvP loot drops are all random so it is a case of play it and hope.

I'm about to hit level 20 and saw this guide on Reddit which has some useful tips that may help?

For those as confused about Light as I was, This is what you need for each level:

Level 21 = 20 Light
Level 22 = 32 Light
Level 23 = 43 Light
Level 24 = 54 Light
Level 25 = 65 Light
Level 26 = 76 Light
Level 27 = 87 Light
Level 28 = 98 Light
Level 29 = 109 Light
Level 30 = 120 Light

Level 20 Rare armor will only max out at 15 Light per piece, so after Level 24 you need some Legendary or Exotic to keep going up. Upgrading the Defense of your armor also upgrades the Light.

I have only just finished the moon so still have some way to go, I also have not read any of the unlocked content. However I am not sure that you need tin foil hats for that theory, yes it is a bit out there but I wouldn't go so far as to say it is so unbeliavable as to require TFH's.

As much as I know of the game and story, the narrative is from the perspective of humans on earth. We, the Guardians, are too busy killing everything to ask questions of the 'enemy'. Bungie made an epic game series and story with Halo so, assuming here, that they aren't a one hit wonder it could open Destiny up to a brilliant story should it turn out to be the traveller and guardians are actually the darkness.

I have to say though in the hours I have played, I realised the enemies made noises but never realised that any of the enemies actually spoke. Something I will have to keep an ear out for next time I am on.

Just witnessed a streamer on Twitch quit after almost 6hrs of doing the Vault of Glass raid in a group, they could not do the end bit at all.

I've deliberately not looked cause I want the first time I do it to be a complete surprise, I do think in time it won't seem as much of a challenge and future raids will need to be released. A lot of RPGs work like that, Torment 6 for example in Diablo III was considered the endgame challenge for a long time now it's the easy mode for a lot of players so Blizzard ended up creating greater challenges to keep those players happy.
