I like it, stops people just massively grinding out top level stuff really quickly and complaining there isn't enough content. It's plenty for all but the most insane player.

Afaict Atheon sends the three players who are furthest away to one of two time periods, either past (brown?) or future (green?)

The goal in there is to pickup the shield to cleanse as well as killing all the orbs that materialise.

Afaik once this is done and the team in the present re open the portal, the teleported players come through and Times Vengeance is activated which buffs damage against Atheon.

Something like this anyway.
 
I haven't had a single legendary drop yet and no rares have turned into them either. I reckon I have decrypted about 100 items so far.

Any tips on where to go and what to do to get some legendary gear?

Why should a game not cater for insane people :p ?

I would probably have over 300 marks now if the cap wasn't in place. Does handing resources into the quartermaster override that cap?

There are a few good places to run, in the end it's luck though.

The Shrine of Onyx level on heroic has a few good places where yellow creatures spawn and you can just kill them, die and repeat.

Or there are some good areas on Earth where you can do chest loops (I like the rocketyard and the area next to it) Let's you do public events too.

I have 5 legendary weapons but no armour yet. Tbh the weapons don't seem that great. Found an auto rifle that has ridiculous recoil :(

If WoW is anything to go by they'll gradually nerf it until eventually you'll be able to do it blindfold (and get twice as much loot). :p

BTW When specifically does the weekly stuff reset? I've got FA to do.

get 65 vanguard or crucible marks, vanguard or crucible rep to rank 2, then visit tower vendors.
