*** The Official Destiny Thread (now includes 2.0 and TTK) ***

currently at level 20 - completed loads of bounties, missions, strikes (done all the strikes and missions) and yet I note I've only got +6 vanguard points! I could swear I've been awarded loads whilst playing through but their not showing on my overall score.

Is there something I'm missing here?

Might as well start joining one of the Groups/Clans like DO, FWC, NM, level up using reps from both Vanguard + Crucible, more focused. Only down side is they only accept Crucible marks to buy from them.

Well out of the 30 drops I got both times they were almost all just the exact same piece of armour (some crappy green gloves) so 4 or 30 it doesn't really matter - still nothing in the end! lol

I found out about this farming section and within 5 minutes had a purple. 3 hours of it since and not 1 more purple. And even that purple turned into the exact same blue armour the blues keep giving me. Rustburner 1.5 or something along those lines. useless.

I swear that cryptarch guy is just giving you crap and keeping all the good stuff.

I bet there was an admin error and he accidently ordered 10,000 rustburner 1.5s and he's just getting rid of them and secretly gathering a collection of legendaries.


Also 1 thing - during the Beta levelling his rank up got you better engrams from him - now it seems they are just stuck on Rank 1???
He is level 8 in my game but all he gives me is Rank 1 engrams.

In the Beta he gave you ones to match what rank he was and they were much better...
 
Hi guys,
I really badly need some help to clear the weekly heroic strike this week, I have an exotic weapon bounty for it and then I need to complete 25 normal strikes, so I don't want to grind strikes until after completing the heroic.

I am lvl 25 with fully upgraded lvl 20 blues, I just need to clear the lvl 22 version, so please if anyone is free tonight, msg me on PSN - ShakeNBakeUK (PS4 version).

Cheers but I don't mind waiting for a lv26 run, ps3ud0 mentioned he might be willing to do it, assuming I haven't got psn and forum names mixed up. I may end up soloing the lv22 variant like last week :p
 
Well im lvl 15.0 now farmed 8 hours strait. Killed around 11 000 - 12 000 mobs over that time. From 7 epics i got TWO one for hunter so now i got epic chest legs and head for hunter. And auto rifle with max fire rate i was after. So end of farming. I had about 25 blue ones not a single epic. I ****ed up with making video and have not recorded decrypting it all at once :/ but every slot was full with blues or epix for crypting. That shows you how bar rng is in this game. Normal human wont even kill so many mobs over hes whole destiny lifespan. Anyhow got 200 of both marks and level 3 in dead orbit 2 in vanguard and 2 in normal pvpvrep. Not to mention i got 25 strange coins and 45 motes of light for exotic vendor guy tomorrow :]
