I expect it to be fun, but not the Halo mmo I was hoping for. From playing the beta, neither the pve, vs ai combat nor the pvp (which was pap) was anywhere near as good as Halo's. In it's own right it was good fun, though. And there's loot to get!

I'll be surprised if it doesn't grow into something special.

The big high street GAME store. Makes no odds as dont believe the servers go live before release day, jusylt excited to get my new PS4 setup and Destiny preloaded. Was worrying I'll lose precious game time setting up the PS4 whilst you buggers all level up without me :)

I think the music and immersion is someothing that Bungie do very well. Halo being the perfect example of this, their mellow music for voice scenes or walking around but building to some big crescendo's for battle scenes.

Not at all - they have put effort into making the voice acting really good so it's another part of the game to experience.

I want 3 characters anyway because Raids are locked for 1 week to your character, but not your PSN account. So I don't want to do a raid with OCUK then be unable to join my friends or vice versa.

Loot can be shared between characters and levelling is quick so to me it is fine to have all 3 classes and just pick and choose depending on who you play with - plus you also experience everything on offer.

Was only go to one character, but reading this makes perfect sense, didn't realise that the raids locked for a week :p
 
There was a YouTube video of someone who has it early and it just comes up saying "come back on the 9th" same as if you try and run the beta now.....

You're not wrong, but I can pre-install it and start from the second it goes live. Although it will be taunting me for a few days :p

You can indeed! I have pre-ordered a PS4 with Destiny and they guarantee that it will be delivered on or before the 9th so I'm hoping I get mine before then as well. Can't see why they wouldn't send it out early.

Do I need PSN+ for this?

Yeh mines guaranteed for the 9th also or 10 quid back so hopeful they send it out by at least Friday and hope it comes Saturday as I wanna use the ps4 lol
