I admit I said exactly the same after Open Beta. But I watched a lot of the dev vids about the new skill system, listened to a few people in this thread. I'm actually really excited about it again. If I think back to Diablo II's release; Act 1 wasn't mind blowing, but by the time you got to nightmare/hell you were hooked. I'll give Blizzard another shot, they make awesome games.

Because I bought the CE for a tenner more than Blizzard want for the regular one, and a regular one for £20 less with first class delivery?
 
Can't actually believe Blizzard have made a selling fee then a cashing out fee on top of that for selling items. Is the real money auction house ebay or something? Actually I can believe it as Blizzard has turned into money, money, money. Will they ever make a game in the future you can just buy and play without having other fees involved? Yes you don't have to buy or sell but other players doing it kind of makes it imbalanced.

The fee to cash out is to encourage people to keep their cash ingame and to use it to buy other items which will keep the ingame economy going.

Other players may be able to buy gear but if no one has found the best stuff then they can't buy it. And if people who don't want to sell find the best gear first then people who don't farm and just try to use the RMAH will be behind. The best stuff is too rare for everyone to use the RMAH to buy it.

Same here £45 for the standard digital or £55 for the CE from the rainforest is a no brainer. I was worried about getting it on the 15th tho so pretty happy for the earlier dispatch :D

Heart of the Swarm wont...

D2 had trading outside of the game with people being ripped off left right and center.

People want to trade for money in Diablo. This gives them a safe place to do it, ties it into the game, and gets Blizzard a bit of extra dough. It's optional and you don't have to use it.

Who loses out apart from the scammers exactly?
