I paid £65.00 for the CE on the forest. Totally worth the price, but I just hope they send it out early so I can prepare for the rush on May 15th.

Need to get on the beta sometime this weekend to finish off last of the achievments as well. Not that'll matter with the release. Just have friends staying until the 24th. Can't be too anti-social...
 
This is good news. Been wanting a play for ages now. Be careful though chaps the download section for the beta client defaulted to EnUS and I had to change it to EnGB

Not sure if it does tbh. But with something like warcraft and starcraft it gives you the US servers. Considering 90% of D3s content is online I think it might affect your lag a bit if the servers arent local. But for all I know theres only US servers for the beta :p

*edit: Getting around 1.5 - 2mb sec atm So I guess its ok :)
 
Havent read the whole thread so my apologies if this has been asked.

There are 2 downloads in my battlenet account, 1 Beta and 1 full client, im dl the beta client, is this correct?
 
I don't know why but my superhub had an issue and kept resetting while downloading the D3 beta. Never had that sort of thing happen before.

At least with 60Mb I managed to download it fast and hopefully it wont happen again.
 
Downloaded and installed. :D Do we know how much of the game we're getting? i.e. Online features etc?

This will probably be the test to whether my CE stays preordered or not.

I've never been in the beta before but it's my understand that we get to see about 25% of act 1, level limit of 13, and I'm not sure what sort of other features are available.
 
Its strange, I've looked forward to this for years, even a few months ago I was hyped for it. Oddly though, and for no real reason that I can see, in the last few months my interest has just dropped right off. I've gone from not imagining a time this year where I didnt try out D3, to being quite apathetic about whether I would try it or not. And I cant really put my finger on why.

I've never been that hyped about it. The concept just doesn't seem that appealing to me, regardless of the production values. Still, would be stupid not to try the beta.
