Most likely start with season 12, not all the gear you've already acquired will automatically update to the new stats/effects on PTR, you have to do a bit of farming to get the new updated version. Would mean quite a hassle for a lot for people if they were to release mid season, this also means that any non-seasonal characters may need reworking as well.

The level of content hasn't changed massively since the earlier seasons, you will find a much more streamlined and enjoyable experience compared to the old seasons though. A lot of things have been made much easier recently, such as more efficient farming of bounty materials, removing the need to micro manage every single crafting material in your inventory, the ability to create a few different gear setups and save them (handy if you want to switch between a speed farming set and your higher rift pushing set).

The power creep that is going to be introduced in season 12 looks like it's gonna really mix things up as well, should hopefully encourage a lot more build diversity and allow the majority of people to push further than they might have been able to in the past.

It's definitely worth giving another chance (maybe more so in Season 12), be under no illusion though that it's still the same game underneath, so at some point you will likely get those feelings of repetition again.
 
Well the fun necromancer build was gutted, the summoning aspect was dire untill the hotfix and the blood build was just horrible in every way. Considering it was in beta for so long, who the hell tested and provided feedback? Total morons obviously.

I stopped after a few weeks aswell. Not adding some changes to the other classes was incredibly lazy aswell.
 
Just started playing this again after 3 years off :D Not playing seasons but just getting used to the game again. Got my old Barbarian up to level 60 paragon last night on Torment 3 and enjoying it, forgot how addictive it is. Will get the RoS expansion now I've got a decent character

Are there any known performance issues with the game at the moment though? Every now and then when doing Seismic Slam I get terrible slow down. I'm only playing at 1080p with the settings on max, but my old machine never had this.

Spec is:
Ryzen 5 1600
16GB RAM
GTX1070
 
There is a clan... however I'm not sure how active it is these days.
I'm thinking of starting playing again soon myself :) Would be good to see some of the old faces if any are still playing.
 
Is anyone having issues with the blizzard app loading?

sits there on loading app the goes in to the system tray, when there I cant do anything with it.

When I try and load D3 again, nothing happens at all

Ocuk clan might still be active as i've seen ED209 play yesterday with the ocuk clan tag, my DH is not with the ocuk clan though.
 
I still play most evenings.

Do you need to soloGR70 to unlock anything else or are you done with solo grs once you have unlocked all the difficulties?
 
If anyone wants a boost before the season ends let me know, it ends on the 20th of October and season12 starts the 9th of November
