Back for S12, been away for about a month/6 weeks now. Levelling a WD, the only class I've never hit 70 with.
Did the challenge rift, got the cube and now just neph rifts. Good to be back.
 
Managed to get my DH to 53 last night is 3 and a half hours so not bad for the first night. Should be on tonight if anyone is about.

I haven't played for years, but started a WD near the end of season 11 and found levelling a breeze. Started DH last night and even on Hard only i'm finding it's taking absolutely ages to kill anything ..... like usual Maghda bounty rush (think i did on Expert) and tool at least 10 minutes kiting and slowly killing adds. Is it just a case of plugging away till i get a lucky drop to boost my damage then I'll be away, or should I be approaching it totally differently to the WD?

As a second question - I usually play solo so though DH would be a good choice. If anyone has any other recommendations [Not WD again] for solo play (consider the gifts this season as well) let me know :)

I started on Normal difficulty doing one bounty with randoms and then the rest where rifts which was also with randoms. When i hit 37 i joined my mates group and then changed to hard to level up to 53.

Im kinda new to seasons as well as only done S10 and S 11.

For leveling I would join public groups as this I find is much quicker in leveling than doing it solo.

Ah cheers for the reply will try some groups later. May swap to barb as well
 
Excellent. Thought, well seeing as how I have a few minutes to spare so I'll get her to 61 in readiness for tomorrow so the Death's Breaths I need will drop. Go out to grab the few thousand XP I needed and Ravi Lilywhite spawns and drops Liv Moore.

For S12 decided to go with the Barbarian, first time I’ve tried him and so far I’m liking it. Playing on Expert whilst I level him to 70, got a nice build going that allows mr to build fury quickly and the destroy groups with Whirlwind.
 
Oh man, I've got my Monk just two achievements away from my full-set and wings but I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong here. For some reason I simply cannot kill Urzael on T4 for love nor money. I get into battle, get him to that first phase where he stuns you and taunts you but then BLAM he insta-kills me. In previous seasons and for bounties on other characters I can melt him no problem, but on the Monk I seem to be failing somewhat. The Exploding Palm/Seven Sided Strike build I'm using takes down bosses in seconds, but just not this boss.

Any tips?

I can help kill it for you if you like, whats your battle tag? There are also plenty of people on our Clans Diablo Discord who could offer advice about the monk if you need it
 
Is anyone on here still playing s12? This post seems rather quite this season.

Got my dh journey set and now need one more piece to complete my UE set (helm) and a few more gems to upgrade my last one to max.

What is everyone else using this season? Nacro still seems op like last season.
 
Yeah, still playing. As posted earlier for S12 I’m try a Barbarian, started off okay leveling but after getting my first set items started to wonder what I was getting into, it was hard going and I ran out of Fury so fast it was frustrating and this was just the low rifts.

And then I started getting the other items needed for the immortal kings build, what a change, my DPS skyrocketed and Fury no longer an issue. Having the right items made a huge difference, last night I cleared a GR80, died once but still did it well within the time limit.

Think before I push higher I need a little more DPS so I can clear groups a little better and take down the bosses sooner. Find with the higher GR’s I need to pay a little more attention to what they are doing otherwise I can die quick.
 
Nice, not bad at all.

in s11 I used the crusader with a thorns build and got stuck like you did but once I got my full thorns build completed I got such a increase is speed and damage it was insane. Enjoying the dh on s12 and may give the nacro a try next season
