Nice to see Blizzard putting their proverbial foot down.

Someone did the math and apparently Gabynator had played for 23.7 hours of every day since the season hit. Definitely not botting!

edit; I see the same math above! I originally saw it on reddit.

Really glad they are doing something about it. It doesn't really impact other peoples games but it's just the principal of it. Glad they are fixing the WD lag also, but I hope this lag in general as whilst WD did pull a lot of lag they aren't the cause and the game just lags once you reach a certain point with any class.

Also congrats Doco on GR60 \o/

a lot of people from what i read had suspensions rather than full bans depending on how blizzard seen their abuse. People who streamed it etc got hit harder than those who "accidentaly" found the exploit.

Once they hit the turbohud and d3helper boys next you will see some HUGE names fall :)

They knocked off anyone who was caught exploting from the leaderboards right?

regardless of the severity, warning, suspention or perma ban. I think that was a good idea

edit: Regardless of whether penalties were applied, accounts that were found to be utilizing more passive skills than intended had their progress removed from the leaderboards.
