Looks like Gaby is back and already at 1000+ paragon.

Absolutely ridiculous, his brother Chris must have done a lot of farming for him!
 
have come back to this after a few months out and its all changed, ive forgot everything :p

when i left i had a fire wiz with full firbirds, is this set still viable? me and a friend play 2's going for GRs. he has barb and we have hit 37 atm.
 
I've created a Shelong fist monk - and damage is just amazing

but get one shotted on T10 - very annoying

during last rift I was seeing 2 to 4 billion crits at times
 
RNG on this game sometimes makes me question why I play it :P

I had about 2300-2500 souls I reckon prior to the bounty weekend, I have since used all of them on re-rolls trying to get Ancient Lion's claw and Fist of Az. I managed to get a usable Lion's Claw after 25 re-rolls, Fist of Az was Ancient but more or less unusable (Dex/Spirit Regen/Life per Hit).

I have been trying to gamble Ancient Ulianas shoulders for days, probably had over 20 non-ancient pairs from Kadala now. I have gotten 5 x ancient SWK shoulders in the same time I have gained 0 Uliana's ones.

Playing bounties, I don't mind most of them, but some of them are incredibly painful. The "run for miles" ones or "clear level 2" (especially Barracks on Act 3!). They are just a chore for the most part.

Agreed, not all bounties are equal when it comes to time taken to complete. I've had horrible RNG this season using blood shards with Kadala ... as someone who mostly plays the game as a single player that can really suck the enjoyment out of the game. Bizarrely, for me, although there are more ways than ever now, especially with the Cube, to get legendaries it's actually taking me longer to gear up than on previous seasons ... and by quite a margin.
 
The Bonus Act thing is just stupid and they should do away with it. All it does is cause confusion in split act groups, especially with act 3/4. The drops should always be bonus act equivalents so that people can clear whatever acts they want in whatever order they want.

They should tune the stupid bounties too, I also think they should always point you in the right direction, rather than sending you around half the map before telling you you've gone the wrong way.
 
What bothers me is that to get anything worthwhile you pretty much have to craft/gamble it. I think out of everything equipped i have one ring that actually dropped from a mob.
I like what they've done with the crafting but i think they've got the balance a bit wonky, at least for end-game gearing. If you don't get even the slightest twinge of excitement when a legendary drops from a mob what's the point?
 
Pretty salty last night i have to admit.

65 solo gr crackin rift, god mobs, great density, had a filthy conduit at just the right time, spawn boss (blighter) with a good 5 mins left to kill it. Damage is crap, he kills me a few times and i inspect gear, empty gem slot where my striken should be ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu!
 
Any tips on getting ancient gear? I got pretty lucky with swords from the cube, but armour seems hard to get, neither kadala or the cube giving me any joy, & I rarely see sets drop let alone ancient ones, got just 2 parts so far running t8/gr38 comfortably atm, but feel my defenses need some boosting before I can move up.
 
Finally managed to get GR60 solo done for the journey. Rolled a load of dmg > CDR to test out fire hydra archon and first rift I get was okay density but good mob types - zombies/grotesques \o/

Congrats! I know I had a hell of a time getting G60 completed, actually felt like an accomplishment!
