Thanks for the tips, was already saving parts of the waste set, got lucky tonight, got gogok, taeguk, & kadala was nice to me with a pair of ancient wastes legs :), also managed to convert a spare chest to boots with the cube, enough pieces now to run with rorg, but it drops my defenses quite badly as the gloves & helm are very poor rolls, just need to sort those & get some slot jewellery for the gems now.

You do not want to be running Gogok as a WW barb anymore. You want Stricken, Pain Enhancer, and Taeguk. You can change Pain Enhncer for Bane of the Trapped depending on if you're pushing high grifts of just speedfarming. Stricken can also be replaced with Bane of the Powerful for speeds, when you can smash through the RG in no time.

Prioritise %life where you can on some parts of gear, like the chest and belt, if you have decent rolls in the other slots (This allows blood funnel to work better).

Haven't been able to play all week and come today there are connection issues :(

Just got booted from a game and now can't log in at all.

Bane of the Powerful? 20% additive damage and 15% extra dmg to elites over 15% AS & CDR w/ gogok for a WW barb doing speed rifts?

With Gogok you can spawn 6 Dust devils per second, without it you only get 5. (based on standard BK WW setup) That is 2500% additive damage less per second, when you consider that the RG and 5 elite packs only make up ~20% of the rift time the 15% extra damage is worthless compared to 2500% more additive damage per second.

Just my 2 cents.

Edit: I had connection issues last night too. CSGO is having issues with people on UK ISP being routed through certain servers that are run by a comapny called GTT, maybe it's effecting blizz servers too?

Just lost 2 infernal machines, 1st time I put it down to a random dc, loaded 2nd & dc again, then I checked the website & saw the connection issues :/
 
Was grinding hard for hellfire ammy today for my U6 monk, 40+ crafts all rubbish:mad:

But this dropped, not sure if good enough to give up on the hellfire farming?

Decided to roll a monk (WD lag is annoying, gonna stop playing the class until they fix the lag), less than a day later, I have full U6, F+R, FoE (cubed), Fist of Az and Lion's Claw (both non ancient though), jumped into GR 55, completed it with 3 mins to go.

I doubt I'll ever get ancient Fist of Az/Lion's Claw, I think I used up all my luck on WD ):

edit: lol after posting that, ancient Lion's Claw just dropped. :D
edit 2: attempted GR 58, failed by a min, no thanks to the elite and champion ghost pack right at the entrance, I died quite few times there. ): Nerf ghosts pls, so much unavoidable damage.

Yeah Ghosts are ridiculous this patch. Had a lot of problems with Winged Assassins also. Neither will be fixed this season though, unfortunately.

It's a decent, but when you consider Beacon is 20%, it's kinda like half a passive. I'd just use it for now if you're burned on doing ubers, and just go back to farming some more Hellfire later on.

Yeah I started a monk Saturday afternoon, was out most of Sunday so didn't play it much, but I have full U6 and all the usual items that are needed for the build.

Just taking it easy between playing other things tbh, been playing Dying Light with my friends in coop, Mad Max (about 50% in I reckon).

Oh, for anyone interested, with 600 DB's I crafted 24 x fist weapon upgrades. Total stats were 1 x Lions Claw, 3 x Fist of Az, none of them ancients though :)

Just as well for the crafting now as i've seen neither drop in 300 paragon. 1H sword and fist weapons seem much rarer than other weapon categories. Axes, maces, Daibo's, 2H swords all common as muck
 
Both Fist of Az and Lion's Claw I got were from upgrading rares via cube, both non ancient.

Later in the night, got ancient Lion's Claw from Kadala (she actually gave out something decent? Definitely a bug, this needs to be fixed, she cannot ever give out something good, not now, not ever).

Still looking for ancient Fist of Az though >: that one is proving to be hard to get, iirc the fist is one of the rarest fist wep in game, using the cube to reroll the fist seems like the better option, need to farm more bounties for that though.
 
I think souls are the problem for re-rolling for ancients, the other mats you can split farm and get reasonably quick. 50 souls is super expensive, could easily spend 500 hundred and come away with nothing and how long would that take.

Just burnt through 400 souls failing to get decent hellfire ammy, that hurt and i hadn't even been consciously collecting

Thought of it just puts me right off, if i had something else to work towards besides bumping paragon levels then maybe, guess i've hit my effort vs reward tipping point for the season:p
 
Just an update for anyone that's wondering I finally got past a Grift 60 tonight :D, decided to swap out a gem after I leveled the Taeguk gem in season, it gave me the required damage mitigation I needed, I knew my damage was high enough just needed to be less squishy :), I'l level a hardcore to 70 tomorrow and get the final objective for final seasonal tier.

Nice mate, fair play. I decided to switch from U6 monk to Heal for a while, find it a lot more enjoyable when 4 man grifting! I'll probably jump either stick to heal and start slowly gearing my WD from shards then solo push there, or just later on jump back to U6.

Probably just push on wd and stay heal on monk though, a bit more enjoyable :)

Actually I find the opposite, I have like 2.5K forgotten souls because I have nothing to really spend them on. I have a constant shortage of deaths breaths because upgrade rare is the best way to get ancient items.

Bounties are literally soul destroying, they should change the cost of reforge legendary to not require bounty materials, I can't bring myself to run enough bounties to even attempt 10 reforge attempts (should get ancient in 10 tries with an even chance).
