Just wondering how u guys handle resists, my kill speed is fine, 3-5 mins on gr40/t9. but I feel pretty squishy, I read on one guide that 1800 phys resist is needed, but that means giving up a lot of AR?.
Forgot to mention class - ww barb 492p already taken the resist para points, curent resists are:
1674 phys
876 cold/fire/light/pois
1034 arc/holy
Feels like I take the most damage from lightning mobs atm.
Not full ancient gear yet, still need helm & boots.

I'm using the hf ammy with nerves of steel, reason I say I feel squishy is because this will usually trigger once per run on average, not entirely sure now if its lightning damage or possibly reflect mobs, either way it happens quite quickly that I will drop in hp to trigger nerves of steel.
Not using unity atm, because I felt a bit low on damage with it for t9/gr40, so switched to f&r.

Thanks to the guys I was pushing 60 with last night, my first time running grifts that high, and I got some schooling on how to properly manage mobs etc, good fun.
Also huge thanks to Seyline for somehow convincing the RNG gods to drop a Fist of Az and then giving it to me.

does anyone suffer from lag in this game?
if i play solo, its fine, when i play with my friend i lag every 10 seconds or so. latency is always under 50ms.
ive tried opening ports, firewall etc even dropping area damage paragon points and poison gem as it has been suggested. i have so many deaths because i lag and just appear dead.
i havent played for a few months, it was fine before this patch.
Anyone any help on this? solo player was lagging this morning also, nothing else is running while i play.

Witchdoctors have huge problems in groups when using helltooth, as such the old Carnevil Dart doc is the choice for GR groups due to its mental single target damage on the RG.
Theres also a running concensus that removing paragon points from Area Damage helps with lag but i havent seen it myself.
But yes theres plenty of issues which cause lag, imagien a 4 man gr with Exploding Palm monk, Acid Cloud Witchdoctor, Barb with pain enhancer and you can imagien it gets a bit messy
