Just curious, seen a few mentions of getting up to 70 asap when the season starts. Is that one of the main draws of seasons? To get up as fast as possible maybe for leaderboard shenanigans?

As a casual player myself it may take some time so will i miss out on stuff by not getting a move on right away? This is my first season
 
I think it's just that we've all done the 1 - 70 grind so many times we just want it out of the way as soon as humanly possible so we can get back into farming for gear, doing rifts, ubers, etc. Can also boost late comers or people who are back from work late on the Friday. You do get the people who try for seasonal firsts but I don't think anyone on here does that.

I'm considering getting reaper of souls, what would be the best thing to do before getting it?

I have 3 chars of 60 and a barb on 62.

More the excitement of starting over for me and getting the rewards that are only in seasonal. I haven't played a season from launch since season 1. Took a break from season 2 and 3 but put a lot more effort into season 4 to get all the seasonal rewards.

My biggest disappointment in season 4 was playing solo and seeing others with huge paragon levels so I'm hoping to group up with people early when lots are playing at the start. Solo exp has been improved but group still gives the best exp.

Nothing you need to do really, but with the season starting it's a good time or/and opportunity to start from scratch with the Crusader and playing through all from the start with all the new content you didn't have access too.

ok, ty. just found the game for £6.58 so made getting it even more tempting lol
 
It's definitely worth getting. It adds so much more to the game. Vanilla D3 is about 7/10, with RoS it's more like 9/10.
 
Have all my sets farmed so gonna smash up set dungeons before Friday.

Still havent decided on class, im torn between what groups will want and what id prefer lol.

Also people remember this season will be RIP for boosting due to the XP nerfs, massacre bonus will be what its all about

Glad the patch dropped, had a quick blast see how it all was, the new cube recipe *augment ancient item* looks like it has potential - need to level all the stupid gems no one cares about now lol

I'd just go with what you fancy to be honest as unless it's bleeding edge progression it probably won't be an issue. What's up with boosting in 2.4? Only experience nerfs I know of was the nerf to bonus experience, but shouldn't stop the boosting of new characters quicky.
 
hmmm im unable to launch the game on W10, its always saying i need to update even tho its been updated.

As for the boosting i assumed all the xp nerfs would mess it up, if its only bonus experience then that should only affect 70+?

I'm on W10 and had no issues loading the game after patch installed
