So got some gear to try out a different build, went from 35 to 50 - and some of my gear sucks (weapon is pretty bad), but I suspect I can go a little higher, jumped on with a fried and 2 of his mates and I pretty much carried all four of us through a level 50 greater rift, then on that run found the belt you're meant to have, I'l try some higher ones later :)
 
Finding things a little ho hum on the DH at the moment. I've only got the Shadow set and I'm reduced to spamming Impale, while waiting for Fan of Knives to come off cooldown. Impale is very tedious to use on packs. I'm wondering if I should have tried a Wizard.

Admittedly I get very little play time at the moment. Maybe the DH will improve with a different set.
 
Got a Raekor speed farm build going on now. Not sure it is ready for Torment X, but it destroys Torment VIII. Maybe with some more ancient pieces and some augments it will be able to cope with Torment X as well.

Probably not quite as insane as the Wizard or DH but still very quick and good fun. Makes me realise how much I really hate leapquake. Still need to work on augmenting some pieces of gear and trying to push GRs with IK/Raekor.

Yeah you were mincing through every level. Think i was lucky to even kill a few mobs tagging along. We had a good few runs. Got all the pieces for the Raekor/IM now too so need to learn it. That weapon you got Standoff near pefect. Probably better option than IK BB? Going to give it a bash once i sorted out my loot. :p

Progressing in the non season ladder is pretty crazy. I think I have the gear but it's hard to compete against people who are 1000-2000 paragon higher. That's just a ridonkulous amount of mainstat and toughness they have over me.
 
Yeah, it is hard to compete in the non season leaderboards with a massive main stat difference. This will still be true in seasons as well, but not to the same extent that it occurs in non season.

Standoff is good for speed running normal rifts. If you want to run greater rifts with IK/Raekor then you will need the IK BB and then have Standoff in the cube. I have an ancient IK BB ready to go in my stash as well for GRs.
 
Yeah, you only get one "free" set per season, but once you have one set it is pretty easy to farm Torment VI+ for loot and bloodshards which should help you gear a second character relatively quickly.

You get to keep everything. Your character is moved into the non seasonal roster, and the paragon levels are merged. Everything that was in your seasonal stash is mailed to your non seasonal characters so you can grab the items from the mail.
 
Been having LOTS of fun with a newly made Crusader and gear found from my Wiz. Been trying out the Thorns build and enjoying it a lot. It helped to see NWDS post in chat that he just beat solo GR77 with his thorns build too. Doubt I'll ever get anywhere near that high but it will be fun trying :D

I tried levelling a crusader, but I found it really boring...

No idea why...

Already switched back to leap build, I didn't enjoy dieing at GR60. Didn't help someone else was using the bandwidth at the same time causing my gf to dc and me some heavy latency issues at times.

I am still building my IK/Raekor build, I think it's quite good already but this season I haven't managed to get any ancient weps for any of the builds I play which is a first by now at P650

Thorns build.. I got mixed feelings on that, on one hand holding left click to attack and timing 1 and 2 with CoE it didn't feel fun. Sitting still in GR50+ for periods of time not touching the keyboard while everything died in front of me was funny for a little while at least. I was playing with Caphel and a Crusader over the weekend (forgot the name it was 4 letters) and whoever that crusader was (prob on this forum) they were very good.

I haven't been leveling/playing barb much the last 2 days since I've been finishing up the seasonal journey objectives. I had to level and gear a 2nd char (crusader) for the 6 diff sets at GR55+ conquest which I should finish tonight using the Roland build and then I'll have to level a hardcore character which I absolutely hate since I don't know anybody who plays Hardcore who can help level me quickly :(

Hi, last time a played this was vanilla.
completed it and didn't see any reason to replay.

Apparently it's a completely different game now?
What end game content is there?
What are seasons?
keen to retry it.
