I too am waiting for an expansion, or ideally a Diablo 4. I've put loads of time into D3 but haven't had any enthusiasm for the last couple of seasons.
 
I'm hopeful it's Diablo 4, because currently the game is in a medicore state. Either that or "Loot 3.0", would be happy with either.

Read up on some of the optimum armour sets, weapons and builds maybe. This is how you get real damage going in this game, by grinding armour sets and weapons.

There has been rumors for a while now that the content added in the last few patches were originally parts of a new expansion that got scrapped with people leaving the Diablo team for WoW and other area's.

One of the reasons reported was due to lack of money the game makes (other blizzard games have micro transactions, diablo doesn't).

Speculation that because Quinn69 has been invited to Blizzcon is reason that a new expansion will be announced but that could simply be Blizzard inviting someone who has dedicated an awful lot of time to the game to help promote it and nothing more.. we won't know for sure until we get any more news.

I do hope for a new expansion or even a new Diablo but I personally don't think it'll happen.

Players use diablofans as a source of information where people copy other players builds and upvote the best ones.
 
Already lots of speculuation and rumours of Diablo 4 (or a second expansion) due to the positions their hiring for and Diablo 3's state. Like I say, could be either that or an expansion. Hopefully not some spin-off game that hasn't got anything to do with ARPGs.
 
I never bothered as I didn't care about non-season. Would only bother to do the stash if you play both. If you do then I'd just keep the meta sets or/and great rolled ancients.

Took me about 3 weeks before I could be bothered. Just painstakingly went through each item, compared it to what I had already and kept/destroyed. It's a stupid system. They need to do what PoE does and provide read-only stash tabs for season items.
 
Gearing up for the new season, despite the fact it's not that different from the last one.

Going to try going WD main this time, not properly played WD really.

I like some of the changes so far, getting the free set should take more effort now too rather than achieving it instantly.
