Only getting 2.8Ghz still... 1.4185v in BIOS + 100mv offset, RAM Unlinked running at 667Mhz.
See the picture above, temps are pretty low for Stock volts, sometimes they spike to 65c for a while.
Will not boot at 1265 FSB and I cannot figure out why, funny feeling this is a bad chip.
Pack Date: 04/24/07

Just spotted this over at XS Thought I'd pop in and see what all the fuss was about, nice work!
gurusan said:Any theories as to why these are running so hot? I though less cache usually = less heat.
Bito said:Some have said that it may be because these cpu's have paste in between the core and heatspreader, as opposed to soldered on for some of the other cpu's.....may try 'popping the lid' on mine and see how this effects temps
steve258 said:Got a feeling you are using P5N-E SLI?
Try upping the chipset voltage to 1.5V and jump straight to 1333Mhz FSB - mine has a FSB "hole" between 1200 - 1300Mhz where it won't post at all.
You can find loads of info on the official P5N-E thread.

Took your advice on the RAM but just ordered 1GB for nowlay-z-boy said:If you are sure you want a 1GB kit, then this stuff should be good for clocking:
