Yep we dont bite (much) and some of the erm Elite Veterans can help with any questions you have.

90% of CTD and glitches getting stuck in cruise ect are all server instances issues we had the same thing with premium beta it took them about a week to smooth out the servers last time.
 
I had one CTD, but submitted the report.

Only issue I had was my throttle being mapped and working in normal flight but not in Supercruise, I had to unmap the two keyboard keys (W and S) before it'd kick in, after that it worked perfectly though.
 
spent tonight mainly trading Fish from I Bootis to Aulin, then trading Agri Meds back to I Bootis. rinse and repeat. got intercepted by a npc pirate during my travels but destroyed him to into metal fragments :D loving it.

joined the TS server above, but maybe everyone has gone to sleep now.
 
Beta 1.1 (worked ok before) starts up to the menu screen then I've got the sound as if your selecting a menu option repeated constantly and selecting an option does nothing, happened both times I tried, not got time at the moment to look deeper into it.
 
Played a few scenario and I managed to get into a space station and eventually worked out how to get landing permission. I worked out how to use cruising and the jump drive but on each occasion I was interdicted and was destroyed. So far I have lost 4 ships, think nexct time I will try to just do a little trading then upgrade my ship.
 
played a solid 2 hours, used all my fuel up and just limped into a station to reload got interjected twice first i think was an npc i won :D second was a pc, we dance for a bit but i was trying to get some fuel and just managed to super cruise out! (think he/she would have had me otherwise)
Cant believe how polished this is though :D
 
Played few hours before starting nightshift and really enjoyed it. Made no money and have lost about 7 or 8 ships though.HINT: When docking be sure to keep your fingers away from "TAB" :D. Have a couple of fines on my head for carrying stolen cargo too but, that's all a misunderstanding, honest.
 
Looks cool to try, the prem. beta was $75, not sure what it is now, but I feel odd paying for a alpha/beta. Some nuts I know payed $150 for Archage alpha, sure comes with benefits, but OMG...

Yep we all getting old, had to drink my coco and then bed;)
 
Loving the discussion in the DDF about about the founders world, some good input from people about what should be in there... its gettign rather exciting :D

People who paid premium were funding the game in place of a publisher. They did so because they really want to see the game happen and it keeps the game in the hands/control of those that create it.

It's a small price to pay to kick the likes of EA (for example) to the wayside.
 
I don't see why not, I'm using a right mix of peripherals in-game and all work perfectly.

If it can take all of those and be perfectly configurable you'll be fine, might just need to use your keyboard for some inputs.
 
To be honest I prefer to use keyboard for some stuff. I think this is in part due to using autocad all day and using keyboard shortcuts with that :|
