really ? Forgot to mention that was at 1680 x 1050.
To be honest I was shocked at how well it played just tried World of Warships and it handled that not too bad either. Although I have read that Elite is not that taxing on GPU's.
Just as an example Next Car Game it really has to be low, no AA, no AO in fact everthing low or off except particles I have it on medium so I can see when the cars are on fire and thats at 1280 x 720 res for it to be playable.

It's amazing what PC developers can do when their not dishing out lazy ports. I mean 4K gaming on a 970GTX should be normal, but you actually need 2 x £400 cards to stand a chance.
 
Have played this again the past couple of days, and I ha e to say it has definitely improved. The missions available now are much better than before, with more variety and there are simply much more of them to choose from. Maybe it's just the systems I've gone through, but it is definitely less boring now.

I haven't chosen a side for power
play yet... Who have you guys gone with, and did you have any specific reasons as to why you chose that side?

I went with Sirius Corp, purely for the exploration data bonus; turns out they also have one of the better faction specific weapons, which is a nice unexpected extra :)


I'll probably sign up with Space Khaleesi once I've finished selling my exploration data, I've always been Empire at heart and I fancy getting my hands on those prismatic shield generators.
 
Any specific reason as to why you're ignoring it? I can see why some people don't want to be a part of it, if they're wanting to live a more quiet life especially.
 
TBH I haven't really looked into it that much so I'm not sure what happens if I align myself one way or the other. I'll probably be incredibly fickle and shallow and go for the hot young female one. :/
