The cutter is a sweet ship when fully kitted out. It handles surprisingly well as well and pretty nimble. I have mine A rated but dropped A8 shields for cargo, so running 720 cargo currently and it holds its own in a scrap against most ships.
Which shields are you running? I assume class 6 I assume.
As mine's a sitting duck with it's inability to turn and lack of weapons, feels more comfortable to go with the BIG shields.
Just started on the CG delivering explosives. Interdicted by a Conda on the 2nd run. Couldn't possibly win the interdiction sub game, though I tried on the first time. Just laughed at the Conda's inabilty to hurt it's shields.
One thing I did do for the first time since playing ED is to try out a docking computer. Just couldn't dock it the Cutter to save my life. Nice to leave it to Google.

Reddit is the last place to be linking for quality factual info
10 years aint going to happen unless they do another community cash drive, and until the community comes together to really figure out what is a priority.
Lots of little bits of news. Bit tired so a quick summary:
Sandro has the same hat....
Zac is as enthusiastic and helpful in person as he appears to be on the forums.
SJA is an evil genius and gave a number of small groups of us an insight into AI behaviour, how the npc rankings are being tweaked and improved and exactly how to beat reverse flight combat.
They are liking the idea of ship variants... especially when they help bridge gaps in their internal ship 'backbone'. More on that later.
There is a 10 year plan.
The UA thing isn't a wild goose chase, we are apparently 'close' and there is more awaiting us as and when we work it out.
Imperial Eagle concept artwork shown... may well change over time.
More support for player groups 'Soon'. Watch the gamescom news.
There is a plan to use the upgraded missions system to give us more depth. The upgrade was 'under the hood' to extend capability to do missions conditional upon statuses of all sorts.... Longer range and more complex missions were a 'yes' and got a 'very soon'.
The PC release of cqc from what we could tell will be hot on the heels of the proper xbone release.
And much more. Will tap notes up properly after today but essentially we are having a cracking time, the devs have all been superb, the community drank the bar out of ale and are all bonkers and we have 1 day left.
I've just been doing explosives from yz fornicus. Did about 1k last night, which at the time put me in the top 25, but no doubt that will need some leg work to stay there. Are we in the first tier yet?
18,720 tonnes of Explosives delivered so far and in the top 10. Profits are rubbish but it is nice to join in with the CG's.
So...
Beta Access next week, Tuesday 20th September for anyone who has access to it.
Wouldn't bother in an Adder. Mining best suits the bigger ships where you have plenty of spare hard points and internals. Unless you're in a real back water area you'll be bothered constantly by pirates and so probably spend more time fighting than mining.
