Looks like I'm going to have to swap out my auto dock for a surface scanner, Bummer I hate looking for landing pads....

You do know that your compass points to your assigned pad as soon as you are inside a station right? Surface ports and outposts it points towards as soon as docking permission is acquired.

Nothing else to do except look at the planet data in the system map to see what percentage sulphur is present in, obviously the higher the better.

Dilemma.

So I've got my vulture and I'm going to have a go at engineers. I've given Felicity the meta-alloys. Now I've got to get some sulphur.

Looks like I'm going to have to swap out my auto dock for a surface scanner, Bummer I hate looking for landing pads....

I now have an SRV too, anything else I need to do/buy etc before heading off to the nearest planet...

You need to mine or get a planetary landing vehicle for your needs :)

Sulphur's all over the place - you'll have nee problem finding some. I have some of the rarer still bookmarked so might be able to point you in the right direction if you need it & can't find any around where you are.

Well going to engineer the cutter.

FSD done, dirty drives next then it's just all about keeping the weight down. It's going to be a trader only so not to much engineering required. Back of my mind I think it will be a waste of time due to the panther coming out soon though.

After that it's time look at a Beluga and a passanger ship. Any pointers for this ?

Sorted. I've done my first engineer thingy.

Upped the power of the vulture a bit.

Any suggestions on what to go for next. I'm not really an explorer..However it is part of the game. I'm more of a bounty hunter but that may be just to get the credits to buy a better/Harder ship.......Oh decisions decisions..........

Your next step-up ship, would either be the fer de lance or the python. They both chew through the smaller ships.

And buy an asp explorer for exploration as a secondary ship. Or if you're on a budget go for the diamond back explorer.

Imo python should be the next step for you. The FDL is pretty much a Sunday you you can soup up. ( that and struggle to kill anything in my fdl but have only engineered the fsd)

A python opens up many options for improving the bank balance and benifts from a good ride of engineering , dirty drives, FSD. Overcharged Powerplant and your a trader, bounty hunter.

Asp, python, Annie. That's my preferred route. You can substitute a clipper for the python, but it's large pads only and less cargo space, albeit a much faster ship for escaping danger or chasing fleeing ships

Look at your end goal, it's probably the increased range FSD. For that you will need arsenic, try find that and you will be throwing sulphur out the door as its such a common element! (Best planets for arsenic are around 2.5%!)

if i were you i would get an diamond back explorer, a grade fsd and a srv bay and go upto quince and load up on scan missions before they nerf it

Cheers guys. I think I had a python. Is there a way to check I may have parked it up somewhere??/LOL

I've got 41Million in the bank at the moment. So feeling a little skint

Whats peoples opinion on engineers...worth doing, game gameplay mechanic, boring, not worth doing???

Improve your FSD's range. No matter what you do in game the further you can jump generally the faster you'll be able to do stuff and frankly imho once you've done it ED becomes an entirely different game that is a lot more fun to play as you can zip across the habitable bubble in minutes & not an hour or more!

Btw there is a bounty hunting CG on in Kamadhenu in which I am taking part in so do join us; the place was absolutely rammed with Players on Sunday night but yesterday was rather more quiet (though I was on in the morning UK time).

Not sure if they have already.

I went there 57 jumps...Manged to get about 6 scan missions as soon as I landed. Now nothing....
