Even when 2.4 arrives somebody will find an exploit to make tons of credits as there has been with every update since the Alpha.

More that people think there is an end game, rather than the "grind" actually being the game.
The daft thing is, if it wasn't for the grind of the game, I'd last longer than a few days every time I start playing again.
The game looks good (well, once they revert the star textures...), there's more to explore than ever possible & there's content (although not that varied, but enough to swap whenever want to), but the engineering, system permits etc just kept stopping me from sticking at it for long, which is a shame.

What are you grinding toward?
There are plenty of things to do that require no system permits, engineered components, or anything... Most of my ships are unengineered.

Welcome to the Python club, I preferred that to the Anaconda. Good mining ship too 
I loved my python. Less cumbersome than the anaconda and still packs a punch. Also not bad for cargo work. I loved my clipper more though. It was a great pirate ship (fast and great for grav locking fleeing ships). Python was a bit slow and jump range wasn't amazing.
Yeah quince or there is a 3 hop mission run which I could not remember.
I had the same plan was already at duke and wanted to get to baron, ended up at king took about 4 days or so and 500m in the bank from it. Not that I needed the money mind you. Also took a bucket load of massacre missions and had the corvette shipped over for 20 million

Is it me or does anybody else think that the performance is better on win 7 and 8 for this game? Im getting massive fps drops on windows 10 and it takes a while to exit the game too.
This is after a new installation of windows 10...? I never used to get any issues with this game but now its stuttery and no where near as smooth as it used to be. I used to play on ultra, 1440p and 1.5 supersampling and it ran at 100fps literally constant. Now ehn i run at 1.0 Supersampling i get much worse performance.....
Can anyone help

Gonna go res bounty hunting tomorrow. Got 12 mil in the bank for re buys.. but hoping I won't need it. This thing handles so well for a larger ship.

Ugh. Went high res site hunting this afty. All was going swell... until some idiot federal ship flew into my multicanon crossfire, cue the 200cr dormant bounty, me going pedal to the metal flatout trying to haul ass outta there.

Well bought the cutter A-rated it to a trade ship.... then put it back into storage without even leaving the dock.
Back into the Corvette a change of military grade composite to reactive with thermal mods and I now skint as only 820m left in the kitty.

The Python is the only ship I use. The only one I own, in fact. Got it kitted out for bounty hunting. I've tried some of the others (Fer De Lance most recently), but can't get on with them. Only problem being, rebuy is about 6mil and I only have 10, so not played the game in years in fear of losing it all
