******* The "official" Essential iPad Apps thread (with stars) *******

Can anyone recommend an App for radio stations. Hopefully getting an iPad in the next few weeks and I want an App so I can search for radio stations around the world and tune in etc.

WunderRadio it's a great bit of software :D

Can anyone give me some ideas on what app to get to open zip files from the mail client? Using exchange if that makes any difference.

Looking for something like FStream but that works on the iPad. It used to available (the iPhone version), but now it isn't :(

Anyone played flight doodle HD? Looks like an iPad version of doodle jump (yes I'm aware there's a flight doodle for the iPhone)

Does anyone know of an app that will let me connect to a server via SSH/SFTP and tell it to FTP some files to another FTP server (graphically) that would be awesome if possible. Or even a php script or something I could install on the server to do it.

Also is there any way to download/upload files (via an app maybe) so say I download a .torrent file (legal of course ;p) off a website and want to upload it to the web interface of my server, is there a way to do that?

For people who had previous downloaded CineXplayer only to find it played hardly any .avi/DivX files they have released an update. Just tested it and seems to work fine now. :D

Also, GTA Chinatown Wars is aw-uh-some!

Had a quick go on GTA Chinatown.. i wish the camera angle wasn't like it is though... it feels weird.. though if it was a behind view it might be harder also.. not sure

I'll have to try OPlayer HD again.. last time i used it i was like what do I do :P? I guess it shows up in application sharing to sync stuff on?
The syncing MKV's would be nice.. though surely it would be best to convert them anyway?

VLC Remote is pretty cool. Been using MPC for a while now, though I might just change back to VLC because off this. I can see use for it on a daily basis.

Controls on it seem excellent as well. Normally i just use teamviewer/touchmouse combo, but this will make life easier ;)

VLC has been announced for the iPad (and iPhone soon)- been umming and aahing about buying one as I don't want to faff about with converting all my TV shows to iTunes. This might just get me to the Apple Store :)
