I hope this is allowed but if not just delete it! Anyway, some friends and I made a game which we're really excited about. It's free, great fun (imo!) and is called Sculpty Lite.

It would be awesome if you guys could download it, rate/review it and see what you think! We won't get any money from you doing that but it will help us see whether or not to develop the game further and make a full version. :)

Anyway, hope you enjoy it!

Any more apps recently ? getting my ipad 1 soon and want a list of essentials :), you think we should make a 'definitive' main list or something that will save people trawling through the thread ? Maybe we could donate that to the OP and he could put it in post 1 ?

Games, news, streaming from PC stuff.

The app I use most:
Splashtop - This has saved me hours of time at college. I forget to upload my work from home PC to college extranet. Get out the iPad, connect to my PC which I leave on and email the work over. Fantastic ... and when you can't view videos because they're flash... well yeh, Splashtop

Angry birds and world of goo

shame, mitube - the youtube downloader which was on the app store for a few days has now stopped working. It cant connect to youtube. Apparently google blocked it.

/goes onto cydia and gets mxtube
 
I can't get over quite how good Splashtop is! I got back from work today, switched on my PC remotely via Wake on LAN within the App, did everything I needed to do (check emails, various sites, type this message, even update iTunes) and then remotely switched my PC off. Just incredible stuff.

Downloaded GarageBand last night...its great and really sets the bar for other music apps but imo none come closer to this in terms of depth and it has a slick interface. :)

Also got that DJ app....also amazing. And Brothers in Arms 2 which is also great so far. :D
 
Played around with GarageBand a bit, I suck haha

iMovie is quite cool, I can see why it's for the ipad2 though (hardware improvements)
Not got any music or video on my iPad though right now. But being using pictures ad the sounds built into the app

EDIT: Synced a few videos on and they don't actually show up in iMovie. Surely it's not just for video which has been recorded?

Is there any website or part of itunes that tells you what games are on offer etc? Because when a game is goin from 5.99 to 59p etc its not always in top 10 right away. Maybe ive missed something as im new to ipad/apps... :rolleyes:
 
Downloaded Angry Birds Rio at midnight, been waiting for it's release. Some nicely graphical updates over the regular Angry Birds/Seasons games

Personally I think we need an Angry Birds thread! :D
