Mentally Unstable Enterprises has declared war on Digital Fury Corporation.
After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.

Now this is going to be fun :)

Give 'em one from me :)

I spotted a Burn Eden pilot in RL the other day. How did I know it was someone from BE? Well he's so proud that he's got the only t3 mods in existance in Eve that he's got custom number plates.

I tried to catch him up but he got away from me :) :D :D

Brilliant :D

As for MENTL, skully could be right and that they have people on these forums. oh well, kick their *** for me too :D

We do, you can count on one hand the DFC members in empire.

Im looking forward to it tho, if they do have someone on these forums, they are gonna regret it. A few of them used to hang in the pipe to deklein. I dont care where they are tbh, were gonna find them.

I'm not sure if you lot read the official forums at all, but this post tickled me

I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision. Thanks in advance guys.

I've suspected for some time now that my girlfriend has been having an affair. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her mobile up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with her. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night something odd happened. She had come over to play EVE and had forgotten to sign off of AIM after she left. It was whilst I was going through her buddy list that I noticed my cormorant had just been pwned by an merlin.

Should I stick with destroyers or should I go directly to cruisers?

awesome post. destroyers have a role that is mainly pvp anti frig when needed, as well as then moving into interdictor territory, cruisers have a much broader scope, both pve and pvp :)

D

I wasn't sure whether to post it or not, but I feel that the level of the loss will scare the n00bs so it's a fun thing to do :)

Look at this killmail (I've edited the order of the items just to make it clearer)
2006.01.21 16:30

Alliance: Ascendant Frontier
Corp: STK Scientific
Destroyed: Dominix
System: xxxxxxxx
Security: 0.0

Name: True Creation's Park Overseer / Sansha's Nation (laid the final blow)

Destroyed items:

Heavy Beam Laser II
Heavy Beam Laser II
Heavy Beam Laser II
Multifrequency M

Cap Recharger II
Cap Recharger II
Large Armor Repairer II
Centum A-Type Energized Reflective Membrane

Standard M (Cargo)
Radio M, Qty: 4 (Cargo)
True Sanshas Microwave M (Cargo)
True Sanshas Radio M (Cargo)
Sanshas Infrared M (Cargo)
The can wasn't recoverable so effectively everything on the ship was lost.

Time for a mind-numbing tot-up of losses in slot order, high to low.

6 x Heavy beam lasers t2 - 4,500,000
5 x Cap recharger t2 - 85,000,000
1 x Large armour repairer t2 - 8,000,000
2 x N-type thermal hardeners - 4,000,000
1 x Centrum A type 44.5% thermal hardener - 30,000,000
2 x Centrum A type 44.5% EM hardener - 60,000,000
1 x Centrum A type 28.3125% to all resists - 250,000,000

Drones, crystals, loot - yada yada.

Not including the ship, that's a total of 441,500,000 ISK

I was gutted to start with but in all honesty I'm not that bothered. It was my own fault - Too proud to warp away quickly enough thinking that if I just destroyed one more ship then my repairer would catch up with the damage. When I finally tried to warp it was too late. As I aligned to warp I watched the ship take structure and then repair some armour, over and over again this happened until finally the inevitable happened in that the ship popped, probably just a couple of m/s away from reaching warp.

*chirp* happens. Replacing the expensive repairer has made a substantial hole in my wallet but I'll recover it before too long. It was a fun ship anyway, configured for Sansha ratting and I've not been near any Sansha space since RMR.

Oh Btw if anyone see's MENTL hanging around or transporting anything please let us know via the D-F-C channel :)

Meh... they're not on to you now are they? Stupid idiots the lot of them from what I've seen. Looking out for some 'ultimate' challenge, yet when they come up against people that actually fight back seem to do a better job of running and logging.

It does seem highly likely that they are connected here given the fact that they have declared on OcUK ASCN and now DFC

Hey if you thought we killed a lot of a ships when we were down in ASCN space, its nothing compared to the amount of RA ships we killed last week.

We killed 48 battleships last week Monday - Sunday. Empire war was active from Thursday onwards. I've never seen such a target rich environment since I started playing. But the best kill was an indy who dropped 196k mega and 193k zyd.

hehe nice one, but at the end of the day ganking industrials and non-pvp players isnt exactly rocket science.

Feek man you should know by now to be aligned at all times :P

There are many many fights there. Of course there are plently of ganks, nobody is going to pass up a juicy indy. Remember that fights can appear as ganks if you look at killmails. But they never tell the whole story.
