Ahh right, so it is possible to do that sort of speed in a HAC. Great for me if we're doing a 1v1 because you'd get into my webber range even quicker ;) ;)

Regarding that picture, well it was worth trying to bait the hostile who was in the system into the belt. Unfortunately not everyone in the system was watching alliance chat and within a few seconds of calling I had a load of ASCN people warp in to kill the cruisers who were barely denting my tank that I'd pretended were scrambling me :p

I have a question to ask the eve populous of this thread

has any1 experienced problems with their OS after installing the eve client(and playing it for a few hours) ?

The reason I ask is because a friend of mine recently got into EVE and claims it removed his active partition TWICE !!

and because of this he is quittting eve completely

now this to me seems very strange

any1 else experience similar issues?(should this be a separate thread?)
 
only problem I have with the eve client is the memory leak that slows it down on occasion. Not had any OS issues. If your friend is leaving the game, can I have his stuff? :D

PFG thats Carp sorry, your freind has somethign else going on and its not related to eve.
i'm guessing they use dodgy software?

Only problem we usually get from eve is as Archangelus said, and when the eve team errm FIX stuff, yes fix stuff ;)

I agree with U on this 1 m8, but he is adamnt .

It annoys me how ppl become so narrow minded when they just dont wanna play a game they blame innocent issues on it as an excuse NOT to play it anymore

I would suggest you don't get involved in IT support as a job.. its possibly the one constant in every aspect of support work I've done.
 
I took part in my first 'organised' fleet action last night. Christ, what a rush! Outnumbered 2-1, outgunned, and outshipped, our little band of ships that happened to be in system (eagle, brutix/thorax, thorax, and 2 kestrals) took on a fleet that started out at 5, anded up with 10-12 hostile targets over 2 hours.

Their losses
2 enyo's, 2 inties, and a cruiser.
Our losses
1 brutix (got swamped when all 10 warped in on top of me, and I wasn't aligned correctly)
1 thorax (1 on one with a brutix, who had support warp in to help him)
1 pod.
Both ship losses were mine, as was the pod, but was great fun :)

There was no smack talk from either side, and I've a growing respect for the 3FA guys - well organised, well prepped, and good fighters.

Ouch just got caught in a gatecamp on Dantumi>Mara, I stupidly went from a safespot to the gate instead of using my insta and ended up facing a 4 BS camp whilst being in the fat domi 15km off the gate :o

Can i ask what your resists were? and your hardens T2? Domi for the win indeed best tanking in game i've seen so far, for tanking and dmage output.

Yeah It's always the system's/the I.T depts fault. Not the fact that they've entered their Windows password incorrectly 3 times :p
