Sure but why train for a logistics cruiser when you can just use a scorp loaded with large sheild, cap and armour transfers? :P With a near 80 second cap recharge it can ensure any ship can survive any mission or bonus stage.
Worked a treat for us in missions, especially bonus stages of LVL4's before we moved to 0.0. Sure the logistics cruisers get nice bonuses, but a scorp will do jsut as good a job, but for 50% of the training.

Range :) I can sit back at 30km and feed my corp mates shield and cap and tracking enhancers :) as well as remote repairing.

Plus why not? Logistics are cheaper than battleships, they are more versatile and do a better job at support, plus cruiser lvl 5 pre-req for HAC's so to me it'd be a bit daft simply using a scorp :p

Sure, but at the end of the day it cant do anything that a scorp cant do for longer (more cap, 80sec recharge if setup right), safer (better tank) except the range of transfer that is. :p

:) True in some ways - but lets agree to differ - plus I like fancy new ships :)

Don't know if I'm doing the right thing - still rapidly tryiing to learn this game :o Currently just doing lvl 1 Sec missions whilst training up skills. Trouble is they seem really easy, as in I can aggro the lot of them and finish on 100% without a problem. I'm assuming I cannot do lvl 2 until I achieve a certain rating?

Your doing the right thing mate, have no worries about that. But i would suggest you train up social and connections to lvl3 atleast, this will give you an automatic standing increase with all agents, thus allowing you to use higher level agents.

My Girl Friends N00b character can pwn Level 2 missions in her N00b ship
with 125mm Rails, 2 Civ Shield Boosters and a Afterburner. with No Skill training what to ever.

I can't believe I haven't even got the shield management skill so I can use boost amps... I wanna try 3 boost amps, 1 inv field, 1 xlarge clarity/whatever, then cap relays in lows for ratting in my domi.

Infinite possiblities basically, if i go any deeper in explaining, il be here all day :p

If you really want to make an informed decision to whether you like the game, you need to play for atleast a month, also the learning curve is an *** but throughly worth it.

Come join and see for your self :) Its a lot like real life in many ways.#
you can be what you want to be, you dont have to be a group player and you dont have to be a solo player.
YOu can do PVP or PVE, Trade, Mine bounty hunt or all of those mensioned :)

No ones going to lie to you its a step learning curve and not easy but once you have the underlined pricables you'll be ready to rock. you have STK, DFC, OCUK, plus a few others on this board so you can always find a corp to join.

What other MMO's have you played? eve isn't for everyone but you wont know till you get stuck in.

I'd say this is the 3rd of 4th time I've tried it since beta. The difference this time is I followed the tutorial (which seems a lot niftier since the last time I played) and things start to make sense.

Do the tutorial, ask a few questions and your off and running. And just when you think your starting to get somewhere a whole new wave of confusions hits you :D Its great :) Better than having things on a plate imo.

if you compare it to any other mmo such as wow etc you will find wow has an end game where by you are bored with nothing to do

eve can never get like that

it has no end, you do whatever you want to do, its why it appears so complex coming from other mmo's, its just such a deep game

take a month or 2 tho to appreciate the game and i guarantee you will be hooked

Whats your ingame name? If i ever decide to go piratein the future i want to join a friendly corp, and since V2^ has quit eve and Gods Unwanted Children has gone mostly inactive.

We are back and stronger than ever :)

However we are trying to leave the piracy behind !

I say trying as we have blown a few neutrals up when the war targets are not wanting to play :)

We are currently aiming our sights/war slots on the local pirate corps in our area.

Very possibly. It's no secret that I fly a standard megathron, what ship would you be in?

And where, and when?
