Yeah I noticed lol no worries thanks for trying. I uncloaked in the worst place ever in GQ2 right in the middle of 2 cruisers and an AF was webbed scrambled and jammed before I could even drop my drones to go kill em. Kinda embarassing to have 2 cruisers an AF and a Scorp on my Tempest kill mail :(

tbh, with a T2 autos wolf I did a 50k cruiser in about 5s (i did start at optimal tho)

I'm happy with my little ship, she's been running through lvl 3 missions with no problems whatsoever :D

I just have to remember to cut the AB when in range to shred quicker...
 
I tried Eve ages ago when I was playing loads of mmorpgs....im downloading the clienbt to have a nother shot, properly this time :) any advice? Any corps to look up that are newb friendly?
 
Alright I lost another Carcal in a massive gate camp (that my scanner decided not to show, and I could have gotten away from had it not stopped warping away for some reason, but thats a different story :() Anyways after insurance payouts, buying a new clone, getting a new ship, and getting insurance i've got 15ish million left. I've decided to give the moa a try. I've already got a fair bit of skill points in gunnery (for a noob anyways) so thats not hurting me too much. But I have absolutly no idea how to set it up. Anyone have suggestions?

EDIT: It had better be a decent ship as it is ugly as **** :p

EDIT 2: Atm i've got 432cpu avalable and 936 powergrid. I'm still training skills to improve these though.

Alright, just had a play around with cheap stuff to test fittings. Atm i've got 2 heavy launchers loaded with scourge missles, and 4 250mm railguns loaded with iron charges, giving me an optimal range of 52km. Mid slots i've got a medium shield boster (a namned on I had sitting around) I'll go for a T2 one when I'm decided on the setup, a 10mm afterburner, and a large shield extender (might move to a namned when I am decided on the setup). Low slots i've got 3 reactor control units (10% pg bounus :p) and one power diagnostic system.

With this I just barely am in the pg and cpu capacities. I'm thinking about maybe changing the heaveys to standard or assualt launchers, since the 250mm railguns will be useless against frigates. And swapping some of the stuff on the low slots for warp stabs when I'm doing lower security hunting. The thing i'm worried about is going up against npcs with mwds so I wont be able to keep my range. I max out at 390ish with the ab.

I would appreciate any suggestions, and I havent been able to test the current set up against any targets, because i'm in high sec atm.

not doing much mission running these days, just helping a friend with his level 3s when he needs it. I'm mostly hunting 200kish cruisers and the odd battleship if I can break the tank, in .4 space and under. So I ussually dont run into frigates unless I get pirates chasing me :p . I *think* I will need the 250mm to break the tanks of anything decent and be comparable to the carcal I replaced (had 4 heaveys and 1 assualt on that). The pdus are nice with all the effects they have on cap and shield, but they only have a 5% increase on pg output. When I head back to lower sec to do some more hunting i'm going to need preferably 2 warp stabs (saved me many many times, and actually made it profitable). With two warp stabs fitted I can power up the railguns, as well as two standard launchers (not enough pg output for assaults). I dont know really, i've just had the time to test it on a couple smaller targets so i'm not really sure how it works yet.

Well i've taken it out for some testing against 175kish bc npcs. It didnt to well it it's current set up, it took ages for it to just to get through the shields let alone armour and hull. I think i'm going to strip it done and try to sell it for minimal loss and set up a new carcal.

I've just started ([swa] for 9 days..), and have got my caracal fitted out reasonably now for npcs (I think :/)
