and i currently have 1.75 mil SP if that gives you a general idea of what level im at. im asking now so ive got a week to train any neccesary skills and get the ship/equipment i need
 
Think he might have been refering to the fact that leaving a space of 1 week to train up won't help if you want to train up to get the Harpy with tech II rails. Frigate 5, Mechanic 5, Engineering 5 and Small hybrids to level 5 would take a few weeks just for the basic skills.

That's actually quite a good idea for a fun corp competition. I'd imagine it's over a set period of time onto a secure can with no resists and then submit your log?

I'm not sure to be honest he hasn't said anything else apart from what was said in the email.

sounds good, but cans have REALY low hit points, could be 1 shot kills from a phoon even.

maybe somthing like a shuttle or small frig (lvl 2 maybe a probe or slasher?).

maybe restricting it to T1 kit? as you could go realy mad with T2 stuff and ships!
 
If you just post logs then it will be a matter of who can be bothered to wait longest to get a wrecking shot :p

I reckon the best single damage shot has got to be no contest a 1400mmII howitzer unless you got real lucky hit in falloff with antimatter and a 425mmII
Having said that isnt a rage torp quite... good

No. not any more, the number of HP they have was reduced dramatically a while back.

that was 2 close was ratting in a 0.4 and a guy in a thorax warped in and warp scrambled me in seconds, and he has a large N.O.S so i couldnt even fight back and he said 15mil ransom i gave him it and he left me.

was quite scary as was my first exprience with PvP been training ages and saving for this brutix for ages and its my first night and thought i was gonna lose it


well i've learnt me lesson

target jam them before they do it to you ;)

Whenever i'm solo npc hunting in 0.4 and under I always fit two warp stabs since i'm not looking for a fight, plus I shield tank so the low slots arnt too detremental to my setup, against npcs anyways. It hasnt let me down yet :)

its because he drained my cap so quickly that i didnt even have a chance to defend myself, tbh i was very very lucky and he could have toasted me easily, he wasnt hitting hard with his guns but he stopped me from even being able to fight back

Monitoring local can pretty much avoid any such problems for arising, it should be your focal point when your in low sec. :)
