Kaeten only undocks his deimos for levl3 missions now :( Other than that or complex farming I cant see why I'd rather fly a deimos, obviously I can understand when you get them at a good price this somewhat tips the scales, but given the insane price of both ships for the majority of us I was wondering if I was wrong to stick to a thorax!

Ishtar really is an awesome machine, but other than for show I can't seem to find situations for it either where I wouldn't be better off with a domi.
/me sighs. I miss 0.0 easy money making...my current profession isn't too healthy on the wallet.

I just moved down to 3JN, spent about 100mill on small BPOs and made my money back sooo quickly
mins are dead cheap here that its pointless mining, everyone just refines their rat loot.
tempted to buy a T2 BPO and make some stuff down here.

lets just say, deioms was and still is 55m from when reid and keat were in but i stil view an 80m ishtar as pricey
did CCP stop seeding HAC PBOs to the agents or somthing? I'd have thought there would be a steady stream of BPOs comming in every time there was a lottery?

There are only a certain number of BPOs seeded to the agents, for the larger items like ships it is in the reigon of tens of BPOs seeded, for smaller items it is thousands of BPOs seeded. Once all the BPOs have gone there are no more.

In therory they are meant to seed more BPOs based upon the player base (i.e. BPOs seeded = subscriber base * 0.004 - as an example) however they only do it for new BPOs they don't do it retrospectivly.

lol..I wont admit what I paid for mine then ..and definitely wont admit its value after pimp mods, but then I cant afford to fly it in regular pvp.

..If I could get my accounts mining in 0.0 though :P might start affording "special" ships.

It's very difficult with the BPOs because when so few are released you get cartels/oligopoly/monopolies. Obviously, a player driven economy is good... but more BPOs on the market/being used would be nice. :)

thats the thing, a few people have bought up the BPOs and can hold the rest of us to ransom (almost)

Invention should lower the prices of the most expensive T2 items come Kali 1 in september. And reverse engineering is still to come too.

There is always a set amount of T2 BPO's in the game, if one should get destroyed, it will be re-seeded at the next lotto, this is why sometimes 'old' t2 BP's can still be won.

The Lotto system really, really sucks big fat hairy monkey balls.

regarding hac prices..

i've STILL not lost my munnin, but when i do i might have something to contribute :(

wtb, goonswarm attack.
