Seems an odd choice!

The Myrms are nice ships though :)

Fair enough, I'd have thought Rails or Blasters would still make more sense due to the Myrms powergrid/cap possibly being weaker than say the Harbinger? (I've not checked)

I imagine most people who have the skills to fly a Myrm would probably have better Hybrid skills than laser.

I'd love to have some weapory skills in things other than Lasers! Might make some missions easier being able to control damage types better :p

If your gallente and have the hybrid skills trained up properly then the guns cap useage is fairly small, powergrid tho is still an issue :(

If you want to reactivate using isk on an inactive account you can petition for CCP to reactivate your account for 24hours so you can apply a plex bought in game.

It's $35 so around £22 for 2 months in-game time. I just use evetimecodes. Shattered crystal and battle clinic also sell.
 
Is there a quick way of identifying what type of ship has just jumped into a system so I can decide whether I want to fight it or run away?
 
*i think* you would need to use your on board scanner. Obviously you would need to be in range of the gate they had jumped in as well as having your overview to show ship types.

It's been quite some time since I last had to do this!

Set the onboard scanner to use overview settings (assuming you have them set up properly), 360 scan and max range (just type in 999999999999 and it'll default to the max, works out at roughly 14AU).

Obviously most systems are larger than 14AU so you may have to warp about a bit to find people. Learning to use the scanner is pretty essential for pvping.

good way of doing this is to right click on them in chat, go to their corp info and set standing to -10.

refresh chat, everyone that pops up with -10 standing icon will be in their corp.

This is how we used to do it in hi sec, see what back up they have in system.

Less efficient in low sec and 0.0 though.
 
Guys is it worth starting a new account with EVE now? Is there a OCUk corp or anything? How many hours do you need to commit? I used to have an account but never really found a point to playing?
 
Yes way i did its not that hard, some of them are easy, i am using a nice setup its fully passive so the neut towers do not affect me, here it is. The mission i did was this one
