I'm sure I've seen this kick before. I believe it was one of the fastest knockouts.. but I can't find it. I hope I haven't gone mad.

EDIT: FOUND IT. Not sure if it's the same move/kick but it was none other then Mr Brian Ebersole

I've seen a few cartwheel kicks thrown before but its very rare you see one land.

What in the name of god was the referee doing in the Zaromskis fight though? Talk about late stoppage.

Edit: The best thing about the Ebersole video for me is you can hear Michael "The Voice" Schiavello in the background "... and its goodnight Irene!"

anyones predictions for Miller vs Bisping in this weekends ufc event ?
 
I've never seen Miller fight but he seems like a crazy horse who probably doesn't know when to stop - saying that I reckon Bisping has too much technique in his stand-up and hit TDD will keep him off his back.
 
i think aslong as bisping can keep it standing he wins via UD, thats what i would put money on. as i dont think miller will be able to keep him down.
 
If I'm completely honest the thing I'm most excited about this weekend is Mayhems entrance, seriously hoping he does something along the lines of dancing cheerleaders or something like he did for the big DREAM event last NYE.
 
He won't do anything like that.When has the UFC ever allowed anything like that?

They have always said it is to much like wrestling having big elaborate entrances with fireworks and what not.

Some of the entrances in Pride were amazing :(

Somebody did it... can't remember who, one of the big name Japanese fighters, came out in BDSM gear or something... bugging me.

Edit: Akihiro Gono - UFC 94 - Came out in drag with two other dancing chicks.

Wearing BDSM gear and walking to the cage, is a little bit different to the sort of things they did in pride/dream etc.

I'm just hoping.

Genki Sudo entrances were awesome. Then again Genki Sudo himself was just awesome, one of my favourite fighters of all time.
 
Just looking online, the Pudz v Thompson has been changed to a NC. About time (not sure if its already been posted)
 
That fight was ridiculous, and good on Thompson for stealing the mic and making his thoughts on it known.

That org should disappear quickly if that's the way it operates.
 
Yeah I've seen it before, that was before Genki was big nobody knew who he was and he completely blazed through them all.

There are some UFC events which had bigger entrances, with a ramp / fire etc, was just when zuffa took over. ortiz vs shamrock 1 had it at least.

still nothing compared to some of the Japanese entrances, Pride :D
 
Noticed nobody has mentioned the whole Chris Leben thing, busted for recreational painkiller use after the Munoz fight. 1 year suspension from the UFC.

Don't know what more there is to say about Leben, he is his own worst enemy and is at the point now that he seriously needs to consider help. 2 DUI's and now seemingly a painkiller problem... with the money he has likely earned over the years that is a major self destruction just waiting to happen unless he gets his head fixed.

shame really I was really starting to like him and he was becoming a better fighter :/
 
yeah bad news on chris... seems sorta hit and miss when people are caught there either banned for 6 months or a year or chucked out the ufc like nate was... or if there sonnen already thrown back into title contendership cos it means big money :)

regarding previous question, yeah I want to see Miller and a bunch of cheerleaders re-creating that famous gracie support train, accept miller would be the one at the back of the train giving it.
