I really do not get this argument, beat him for the second time? I see it a lot of places.. How has he beat him once? Please explain it to me.
 
Silva fanboys are getting really annoying now. I've never been one of his fans, but if I was I'd accept he was lucky to of beat him the first time.

Now tell me this, after being outstruck, out grappled and dominated for 4 and a half rounds, then winning by submission, how is he going to beat Chael this time? He cannot sub him twice, he was lucky the first time, a second time would be a flat out miracle.

I don't really like Anderson, as a person outside of the sport yea he's an alright dude, but inside the cage and inside MMA he's a total *****, he ducks anyone who might beat him as much as he can, and rely's on his status and renown to defeat his opponents. The only person who didn't fear him was Chael, and he was the only person who beat him.

Yushin Okami could have destroyed him, that guy is huge and rolls with heavyweights and overpowers them, but he got scared and just ate fists, he didn't even try a takedown!

What you need to destroy somebody like Silva is a monster of a wrestler, and that is what Chael is, and after the first fight, Silva has no hope.
 
He won't get that opportunity the second time, there is no way in hell he will KO Chael, that would never happen, he'll never outgrapple or dominate Chael, so he's just gonna be on his back with his legs spread eating leather, again.

Except this time Chael won't let him sub him, it's gonna be murder.

I wouldn't put money on it if I were you! ;)

Results rarely lie imo - Silva came of of that fight with barely a mark on him so you could point the finger at Sonnen - if he dominated Silva that much over the course of 4 rounds (and he did!!) then why couldnt he finish him??

Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Silva and I hope Sonnen batters him this time out, but to clear out a division (along with a couple of batterings in the LHW division don't forget!) whilst winning 15 straight, you simply can't call this guy lucky!

Look at some of the names he's taken out along the way - Hendo, Franklin (twice), Maia, Griffin, Belfot, Okami, oh and the great Chael himself - not exactly a list of journeymen!!!

Sure, he's arrogant (in the cage) and his fights can be frustrating, but there is no denying this guys is the best in his class - by a long chalk!

That said......come on Sonnen!!!!!!!! :D
 
I can't wait for this fight if only to see the massive humble pie (or fervent excuse making) the respective sets of fans indulge in when their chosen hero loses :p
