How does everyone feel about Diaz and Anderson Silva. I think the taunting in the ring they both do would be great. Diaz retiring will be a sad day in the sport. I'd have to start liking Chael.

Condit in my eyes is the best fighter in the division. I hope he gets to wear the belt one day.

Hope Hendricks knocks GSP out. Or a couple of slams with Hendricks pretending to be a blanket followed by Hendricks winning on points. Just so GSP knows what it feels like. Although it would be a rubbish fight, it would make me smile inside.

I don't get why people don't understand Hendricks winning the fight. Hendricks got way more takedowns, landed some heavy punches, pushed the pace more than Condit, what's not to get? I think GSP vs Hendricks is the last serious challenge for GSP in the welterweight division, after that fight if GSP is still champ he has to start considering other weight classes.

Just watched the Hendricks and Condit fight, that decision is absolute garbage.

Takedowns are scored way too high, Condit was pushing the action pretty much the entire fight. A takedown where a fighter doesn't advance position or do any damage should count for nothing.

OK, Hendricks did get loads of takedowns - I get that. BUT, it's a fight and when he took Condit down, Condit was the aggressor attacking way more than Hendricks in spite of his guard position - plus Condit got it to the feet again, which lets be honest is much harder to do than a takedown, especially against such a decorated wrestler like Hendricks. The rules say Hendricks should win, but it's also called a fight.

I like the way they have dropped fighters for conservative point games and say they only want exciting fighters now they are 100+ fighters too heavy, but it seems if you have a belt or recently had a belt then it is perfectly fine to bore the audience.

I think GSP is looking to wind up his career and retire soon. I think he wants a few more records and will look to retire as Champion. I don't think he'll fight Anderson, not unless the money gets too good to refuse. GSP is just hoping Weidman wins and it takes some of the air out of the calls for the fight.

Just watched the GSP and Diaz fight.

Pretty much exactly as expected, GSP even controlled the fight standing with his jab. Diaz could pretty much get nothing going. Domination. I'll say one thing though, he looked like he was getting tired in the 4th and 5th which is pretty rare.

Side note, how much of a complete douchebag is that clown in Diaz's corner with the gray hair? Perez or whatever he's called? Gobbing off between every round, every fight, can't stand the ****.

The ultimate fighter has been rubbish for ages, they really need to drop it.

How many decent fighters have come out of the house recently?

I agree to an extent that the recent crop of winners and runners-up has been disappointing compared to the early seasons, but that was bound to be the case. MMA and the UFC in particular is much bigger than it was in 2005 when the show started, so fighters aren't needing to use stuff like The Ultimate Fighter to get noticed. If they are good enough chances are they will be recognised anyway. Having said that, John Dodson from the Miller vs Bisping series recently had a title shot and still looks like a potential champion, and I actually think this series has been an improvement on previous ones, in terms of both fighters and coaches.

I'm personally enjoying this season more than I have any other recent one, I think they've really improved the overall look and feel of the show. The next series will either be a disaster or really entertaining, I think probably the former.

I'd have to agree to be honest - I can't quite put my finger on what's different but it just comes across as being a bit more "gritty"!

The interview segments with the circle of white lights reflecting in their eyes somehow makes it more "focused"!
