Tate had the worst game plan ever in that fight.... I think anyone could see you cant get remotely close to ronda her judo game is what makes her champ, no clinching or wrestling or ground game just keep it on the outside and jab and box and keep it standing. Considering on tuf she mocked ronda about her lack of boxing and punching skills and then did the opposite....I think tate is 0-2 in the ufc and her skills and 1-2 more losses and she is out anyhow.

cyborg has said she is coming for ronda but most likely just "talk" she has already said before she can not drop weight without it damaging her.

Anyhow now that rondas been exposed and can be taken to rounds 2/3, Sara Mcmann and Cat zingano who are top 5 rankings and undefeated could defeat ronda possibly. Even Alexis Davis is ranked 2-3 may do it.

Ronda is back on the February card headlining ufc170 card against cat (real no1) am quite surprised ronda is doing so she said expendables and other films meant she could not fight for ufc as much as she wanted. dc cormier and Rashad evans co event which should be super sick fight.
 
yeah sorry just saw that now its McMann in on February card against ronda.

Should be cool regardless, but will look forward to dc vs evans more :)
 
Finally caught up with this last night, nasty leg break !

I was disappointed in some ways by the night, card very good but so many quick finishes meaning pre lim fights being re shown. Also like others mentioned its a shame the Silva fight went the way it did!
 
Damn gutted about that leg break, did look as though weidman was going to win it anyway, Silva just wasn't fighting with the same confidence this time around.
 
So we have to pay for the turd events on UFC Fight Pass? I thought it was a subscription. Are the fight pass events not on tv?

So when they say there's going to be 40+ cards this year, they don't mean all on tv?

I guess will have to sign up, but like Turnip said not 100% sure about if all ufc fights will come on btsports anymore.... its quite possible the main cards will but ultimate fight night cards and tuf series may appear onto via the ufc card system. For 6 quid a month I would have signed up if it allowed all PPV events and everything... but it does not show PPV so a shame.
 
Cruz got a groin strain, he has cancelled his fight with barao even more worse he has given up his belt to him So barao is now the new offical champ. He fights Faber once again, lets hope Faber has learned to break I mean check those leg kicks ;)

Also Tito ortiz was arrested for drink driving.... fun times with tito as always.
 
As I put on twitter yesterday. There is no way Faber hasn't been training for this fight. There was always going to be a chance Cruz got injured.

Glad to see Cruz has vacated the title to be honest! It was getting ridiculous imo - I think he's been in the UFC for 3-4 years and I think I've only seen him fight 2 or 3 times!

He needs to get fit, stay fit and have a run at Barao! (although I'm sure Dana will give him a title shot in his 1st fight back!)
 
So Vitor has applied for a testosterone use exemption for his fight against Weidman.

Hopefully it's denied and Weidman hands his ass to him.

Also Bendo and Cerrone have a bet on who will win the Superbowl. Loser shaves their eyebrows. :D
