Gutted for Ross, grew up near to me, very grounded lad who put his all into training. Think that's 2 dodgy decisions that have went against him now.

Don't know how one judge thought it was 30-27

To be fair the guy who had it 30-27 for Pearson was spot on! :D

Sanchez was right in what he said in the post-fight interview in that he was the one coming forwards - but that doesn't count for much when all you are doing is eating punches Diego! (well actually it would appear it does but most definitely shouldn't!!!!)

Fightmetric has Pearson 230 to Sanchez 127!?!?!

The judging seems to get worse and worse, back in the days of the early UFC events you can appreciate that the sport was in it's infancy so judges were likely ****** up nobodies pulled in off the street.

Now MMA is a legitimate sport and judges seem to be getting worse, pretty much every event has a dodgy decision and occasionally you get the odd absolute shocker. Dana just shrugs it off and says 'Don't let it go to the judges' well that says it all, the judges are a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'd like to see "fairly even" rounds scored as a draw by default!

The way I see it is that razor-thin decisions in each round are leading the judges to give it one way or the other (leading to a potentially skewed overall score) whereas if they were told to score every round as a draw unless one of the fighters has a definitively better round than the other, much the same as the way a 10-8 round is decided, the results should be more accurate!

Granted this could lead to more draws but it would surely mean less controversial results!

Sanchez is just a very lucky person people see him going forward and assume hes being the better fighter by bringing the fight this his opponent

This, when the fact is most of the time he's charging forward whilst taking strikes to the head and ribs and giving nowhere near enough back.

Wow.... no wonder Sonnen didn't jump all over Wanderlei for what happened to him, he was up to no good as well!

Shakes head.

Let me see if I've got this straight.

Vitor was gonna fight Weidman, but dropped out because of the testing.
Wanderlei was gonna fight Chael, but dropped out because of the testing.
Chael was gonna fight Vitor, but dropped out because of the testing.

So are the UFC looking for a new opponent for Vitor so he can fail his test and they can cancel that too, or are they just going to accept that this fight isn't going to happen?

Dana's responce...

EDIT: im going to have to watch that again, i found it a bit hard to follow.. i was too dumbstruck by Dana's white teeth, someone should tell him that the 'ross from friends look' doesnt suit him
