Rumble has got to be the scariest fighter to step into the cage with :D

Unless you are DC! :p

To be fair to Bader, Cormier proved that if you can get Rumble down and wear him out, he's quite beatable - just a shame he got pounded into the canvas before that could happen!

Impressed with Rothwell - like Joe said in the commentary, he just seemed to be flat-footed in front of Barnett taking shots before it went to the ground!

Rumble looked an absolute beast, didn't really fancy Bader's chances given that his best bet was always going to be to wrestle. Considering Rumble handled Davis easily enough, it was only going to go one way. DC is obviously a different beast entirely.

Was a bit of a shame to see Northcutt get derailed, and then you have complete douchebags like Tony Ferguson come out and blast him on twitter. Some serious jealousy going on with some of the UFC fighters over the way Northcutt has been promoted... at the end of the day, don't hate the player, hate the game.

Oh, and Rothwell is an absolute loon :p

I hope Mcgregor fights Ferguson... To shut him up!! He does not have the same ability to carry trash talk like McGregor.

Looked like a total cheese head when he called out McGregor recently.

Shame about Sage, young kid thrown it and the deep end. Although he accepted to be "thrown in"

Although look at all the hype trains who have recently bee beaten.

Megregor has also been submitted twice in early career fights.

Sage will be back once he learns that fighting hurts :)

I can see the frustration from these fighters as they aren't getting the same exposure from fighting higher level competition, that being said you are right in the phrase don't hate the player hate the game.

I think Ferguson will surprise a few people in this thread this year :)

Looks like Benson Henderson has jumped ship to Bellator - including citing the Reebok deal and sponsorship restrictions as part of the reason!

I wonder how many other top-tier fighters will be inclined to give Bellator a go if they can make more money!?!?

Seriously gutted when I found out that the rematch was off and UFC 196 cancelled. Was so looking forward to Cain coming back for the rematch. Really thought he was going to win as well. It really seemed like the altitude messed up his breathing last time and he wasnt himself.

I really want him to stop however he is training and start training smarter to try and avoid all these injuries. He's not getting any younger and a fighter only has so many years of fighting in them.

It would be so amazing if he can stop getting injured and have 3-4 fights per year. These fighters these days are getting too soft with hardly ever fighting, once or twice a year is ridiculous. And I think Cain owes it to the fans to step up his game and give it one last good shot at being heavyweight Champion.

Its just getting ridiculous now. Dana White must be fed up with him too.

Infact Daniel Cormier didnt want to go heavyweight devision because he didnt want to fight Cain who is his friend but since Cain never fights Cormier might as well move up to heavyweight and take that belt too.

What do you guys reckon?

Yeah I think Sage has a lot of potential but I think sometimes they rush young fighters who arent ready. He showed a lot of holes in his ground game and grapping in that fight. Hopefully he takes the time to grow and get better.

Chances are Jones will outpoint DC again, so he may very well do just that if he loses the rematch.

DC stands a very good chance of beating Werdum imo.

Thompson earning me a nice two hundred sheets this morning - Couldn't believe the odds, he's a Karate specialist who guess what manages distances exceptionally against opponents and not to mention the length and frame advantage he had against Riggs.

Nice win from Mike Pyle.

Seriously impressed by Thompson. His striking is incredible. I was convinced he was going to get wrestlef***ed by Hendricks.

Rest of the main card was meh. LMAO at Nelson vs Rosholt. What is that? What are these guys even doing in the UFC? Embarassing to watch.

Jesus christ, that was a result I didn't expect.

Hendricks looked slow, lethargic, wonder if he had a bad weight cut or something. Taking nothing away from Thompson though, kid did fantastically well.

Maybe time for a rematch against Matt Brown, see if he can avenge his loss?

Apparently one of the best weight cuts he's ever had. Something has changed in his camp from the GSP fight and it's not working for him.

Johnny last night looked like he could drop to LW. The IV ban could be having a lot do with it. Weidman looked considerably smaller against Rockhold than he did against Anderson. Since October really you've been seeing some really odd results which I think is due to the weight cutting.
