He isn't a big 205 but he is a older 205, I'm sure I read somewhere that was why he's at 205 as it wasn't an easy cut anymore.
err i was agreeing with a comment on shoguns takedown defense being over rated
also when was the last time hendo fought someone who had better standup than himself?
He always has a bomb waiting to land but I wouldn't call his standup good.

His standup isn't great technically but he has an iron chin and a hammer of a right hand. With those attributes he just needs to land 1 clean shot, regardless of how many he takes.
Hendo is a brawler with a good right hand and a solid chin, most people he fights have better standup than him. The equalizer is the power in that right hand. But I wouldn't say his striking is technically good at all.
Have to agree. Perfect example was the Bisping fight. He was losing 3 rounds to nil before the knockout.
So you think Dan has better technique than Bisping? Might have the power but I really do not think his technique is anywhere near as crisp.
he can be as crisp as he likes. he got KO'd. haha thats not fair i just dont like bisping. i suppose 'technically' he might be. his (bisping) strikes are crisp and he uses kicks and his strikes are more versatile but Hendo has won more fights of late by KO/TKO so give his standup game some respect

ye. and people say nate diaz pitter patters! bisping just isnt top tier. he doesnt excel at anything but is a good all rounder. i went massively off him in the jorge riveira fight. some disgraceful behaviour.

If some band of tossers out up vids on youtube, where your kids could see it and their schoolfriends etc, taking the pee and gobbing off about your family I think you'd be rightly miffed too. Rivera got a spanking and no-one comments on what an utter scumbag he was because Bisping, with adrenaline buzzing round him, gobbed in their general direction. By rights he should have jumped the fence and put a chair over the scums heads and had done with it.

Sometimes being technical just gets in the way... I got a feeling these newer fights we seen this year its just showing sometimes you gotta never leave it in the hands of the judges, just fight to win and win, Ellenberger did just that last week. Got a feeling Condits got the exact same formula next month.
Would love to still see Hendo not change divisions and keep to his winning track and just go for UFC gold I belive hes said he doesnt mind Jon Jones either.

Reminds me when Brock was frothing from the mouth once
While a lot of folk like to see bisping getting knocked out, gotta enjoy his fights sometimes and like hes already said he wants Silva at least once, he would have to win 2-3 more fights before getting it but by then Silva maybe gone who knows.
