Its a shame as Pat Barry always strikes me as one of the nicest guys in MMA, I hope he doesn't get cut as he hasnt got the most stellar of records lately.

Good to see Paul Sass getting another win, I think that unless he adds something else to his game though it won't be long before he runs into somebody that is able to resist his endless attempts at pulling guard and then he hasnt really got anything else. He is still very young though, so he has all the time in the world to improve.

I doubt Pat will be cut anytime soon, I mean, look at his previous 3 fights, Cro Cop, Beltran and Kongo. Like Hardy, he always brings a good fight.

Main event was good, wasn't too sure about the two 50-45's though.

disapointed in barry... he didnt come out to win almost... way too cautious and holding back. He had stefan in a bit of trouble when he was within his gaurd and close up and was able to goto work otherwise I feel he wanted his dutch m8 to win.

Cruz was good, like the wrestling and take downs and if mightymouse ever gets better and defending take downs and improves were gonna see an awesome mouse :)

I think millers gonna enjoy his fight with bisping.... doesnt miller have good wrestling ability? I think bisping brit is in a world of trouble hes proberly getting training lessons in take down defense from rampage right now :)

Mayhem sucks at wrestling, or at least used to. He got taken down by Jake Shields who couldn't even take Kevin Mulhall down, but then, Bisping doesn't even know how to wrestle even a little bit so its not really an issue.

I reference myself earlier in the thread.

Bisping has British wrestling, which is terrible.

You do the same for Miller. (you cannot, because he is not a terrible fighter, unlike Bisping, who is)

Sigh, not even going to continue talking to a brick wall.

Wait, aren't you that guy who kept going into the GD and wanting to "Stand and bang" with everybody... that explains it all now.

nice bet for a double on the weekend. Johnson, wiman. easy money

What are people thinking for 136?

So because you have no reply, it means im the brick wall?

Yup, that was me, and now it becomes clear what the issue is. First you didn't understand that Bisping is bad, and then you don't get the ironic GD thing (which worked incredibly well, I haven't used stand and bang in ages, and yet people quote it without me even being in the thread constantly)

The pattern here is you not getting things.

He's so bad he's only lost to former world champions and one of those was a split decision. He's dominated the stand up in most of his fights, completed half his takedown attempts and stuffed just under half of takedowns against him. Yeah, he's terrible.....

he lost to wanderlei silva, who used to be great but is now 35 and taken too much damage over the years, he really needs to retire he has also lost 6 of his last 8 fights yet still managed to beat Bisping.

Bisping is average at best.

Okami is better, Silva is better, Belfort is better, Sonnen is better.

He is probably on par with Maia. Who isn't exactly setting the world alight. If they 2 fought it would be a fair match up, Bisping should win the stand up and Maia the ground game. Could go either way but odds probably in Maia's favour as i reckon within the 3 rounds he will get him down at 1 point and finish it.

I'm not a big Bisping fan but he's a lot better than what some people in here think. He's a technically sound fighter and if he had real one punch knockout power he'd be a big force in the middleweight division. His record is pretty damn good if you ask me.

The thing with Wanderlei is the exact same issue as there is with Chuck, all the skills are still there but its the chin that is shot to pieces. Chuck looked extremely competitive in his fight with Franklin until he was caught. Silva had Leben in trouble before he ate a shot. As much as Silva is a faded version of his former self, he can still pose massive problems for people who dont have the power in their hands to phase him, which Bisping did not. Even as a massive Wanderlei fan (PRIDE never die!) you can almost see the argument for that fight going the other way, because apart from two late flurrys and those trips I didnt really see much else from Wand.

I'm not a Bisping fan, but he isnt the awful fighter that people here and on Sherdog like to make him out to be. Infact I give him a better than even shot against Miller providing he can keep the fight standing.

I havent seen anyone else say this yet but I really want to see Chael Sonnen fight Anderson Silva again because I'm a big fan of silva's and that last fight he got beaten badly for best part of 25 mins, and got a good triangle and would just be good to see a rematch.

Howcome there hasnt been a rematch already? Any reason you can think of? Didn't chael get cleared of that steroids charge?

I just think it would be an amazing rematch.

his record is full of cans (fighters who were nowhere near his level)
