got to agree. add the way nick fights and he is gonna have one messed up face after this fight. his right eye area is gonna get some serious punishment
 
It will be nice to see if nick has changed and got a gameplan going into the gsp fight...sure its gonna be too easy for nick diaz to not be nick diaz.

I hope he learns head movement/blocking and further improves his take down defense...

I still dunno who to say would win nick diazs could push it till gsp just cant escape, and make it his own fight still GSP is the biggest and hardest fight he will ever face.
 
Chris Leben vs. Mark Munoz

Whats the verdict guys for this weekends brawl ?

a lot of guys are saying Mark munoz, there saying his wrestling and ground and pound is way better and hes improved the most and not to mention could go 5 rounds.

I do remember him saying a while back in an interview its not going 5 rounds since both of them will come to finish it from round 1.

Still quite a few are saying leben has a better chance of his zombie attacks ;) apparantly was ill during the stann fight.
 
If Munoz uses his wrestling he takes this no problem.

If he decides to stand with Leben I see him going to sleep.

I'll take Leben though, never used to like him when he first entered the UFC after TUF. But he has continued to grow on me throughout his career.

Always puts on fun fights and continues to improve, loved his triangle on Sexyama.

His bread and butter is brawling though, and that won't ever change :)
 
Looks like Jeff Monson is fighting Fedor in Moscow this month. That should be an interesting one..

you say that but seriously how many punches fide he actually throw? he has looked awful in every ufc fight win or lose. his non existent 1-2 punch combination dried up and he barely threw any kicks. i fundamentally don't understand how he was expecting to win. backing up the entire fight and doing nothing.
 
I predict Munoz is gonna shoot for the double leg and get his Donkey Kong on. If he was to stand with Leben (omg jizz), then it's nighty night.
 
This is the X factor in the fight.... both Munoz and leben have said we are the main card and only reason people will tune in to watch us, both know this and both have said exactly the samething they will both be throwing bombs....

Munoz has hinted he belives hes improved a lot in his striking....

This is looking and sounding like a stand up war already and both dont feel or fancy doing 5 rounds either lol
 
I think that is all talk from Munoz, he really doesn't want to stand with Leben.

He doesn't have the striking skill required to take him apart, he has the power no doubt about that, but I don't see him doing a Silva or Stann on Leben.
 
So all you guys (me included) with an ESPN subscription will be disappointed to find out they aren't showing next weekends UFC heavyweight title fight between Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos. :( ****ers!
