**The Official Everything MMA Related Thread**

I must say, after watching the Q&A with Chael Sonnen a few days ago, Im really taking a liking to him, Very amusing guy!

Lil Quote,

"Have we all had it with this 'I got a staph infection?' That's like the new thing -- I would be embarrassed if I didn't have a staph infection. You know what a staph infection is? It means you've been working out on a mat. For goodness sake you should always want to have a staph infection. But I tell you what, when Aug. 7 rolls around, I may have one of these mysterious staph infections,I will have something on me will hurt, I will not feel good, but when my music hits those speakers, I'll make that walk and I'll answer for everything I've ever said."

Really pulling for him to win, Even if its just a 5 round decision, I just want a new MW Title Holder already!

Sonnen (R) is the single greatest troll in the history of MMA, the guy is a **** talker of epic proportions, his stuff about Britney Silva was hilarious, and before the fight with Nate and using the guard 'I'm a republican, you wont see me on my back with another man between my legs'

You guys are kidding. Tito Ortiz is THE greatest troll in MMA history. He turns everything into a "i hate that guy,i want to punch his kids with knuckle dusters" fight :)

Sonnen has a great style to beat Silva, but he really needs to work on his submission defence, has always been weak. Nate almost caught him in their fight, and he has been caught with the same stuff again and again.

7 out of his 10 losses are submissions.

Agreed, he is the ultimate troll - after watching the new TUF he bounces between a great trainer and the ultimate Troll.

Ortiz yelling at Coleman after his Couture fight springs to mind, he really should keep his mouth shut.

Yeah the Coleman baiting was lame, especially given the timing of it. His trolling AFTER fights often p'd me off most - the stuff he did with Shamrock was bad taste, and its made its way into his protege Kendall Grove; thats why i love seeing him get KTFO'd too.

Tito is a great coach, dont get me wrong - but as a person he sucks.

Agreed, I have been impressed with him on TUF, and he was far better coach than I expected him to be. A few of his douchey tendencies have leaked through though - the happening to point out "Oh that money in the Pinyata was my money" really was an eye-roller for me.

Just watched WEC 48, Aldo vs Faber event. The Garcia vs Jung fight was just awesome. It had me in stiches. The fight just had everything you could ask for! :D

Just watched this and totally agree, it was awesome, had the decision going the other way though. Really enjoyed that whole event, quite a few entertaining fights.

God knows, from what ive read on various forums, It varies from stuff to do with Shane McMahon and to holding an event in a 65k seater in Ontario

Edit - My mistake, its on at 6pm, not 5.

Got caught, happens to the best of them. I don't see him losing the rematch that is supposed to be happening.

In a way I think it's good for Fedor, he doesn't have to carry that "unbeatable" weight on him anymore. Obviously I'm not counting the other loss due to the illegal elbow.

Absolutely gutting, he had to lose at some point but i didn't see it coming against Werdum if i'm honest.

Dana must be loving it, a UFC reject beating the P4P king.

Still, i don't think this taints what Fedor has achieved throughout his career one little bit; even if fan boys think its all over for him. I can see him retiring soon, lots of stuff floating around about going into politics. Perhaps this loss may reinvigorate his training now though, who knows.

I think Wedum played possum he didn't seem rocked at all. Was just a bad decision by Fedor, Werdum is a former BJJ champion, always dangerous on the ground.

Didn't realise how big he was either, Werdum is a big dude!

Now THAT is what I call funny. Secondly, can you imagine Danas trash talking now?

Finally, maybe people can refrain from bringing Fedor into every single MMA related discussion.

Let's hope this is the end for M1, who let's be fair, are just a bunch of leaches.
