just had my first go on the demo , it feels a lot different , i prefer the passing, it seems like its a bit faster can it be turned down?

I'm getting that feeling as well. They also seem more alert when they don't get to it, especially if its a low powered shot and the leg it back to claw it away.
Scored from about the centre circle with Diego before (don't worry not from kick-off, there keeper made a bad clearance and it was in the net before he could run 4 yards
)I'm also finding crosses a lot more dangerous and the new ball flight gives them a real "whipped" in feel which I like. Jostling is now much improved and realistic and this is probably the first football game where the ball actually feels like a separate entity and not tied your your feet!
Roll on October 2nd!
I'm only getting this on arena now. Is it something to do with the wireless controller settings?

Definitely, doesn't feel like players 'have' the ball any more, the change in possession is far more fluid.

common bug on fifa09 (e.g. taking freekicks, corners and there being no power bar)
i hope what i hear about passing is correct that your player receiving the ball no longer just stands there like a lemon waiting to receive it and will actually try to get the ball
after a few more hours with barca, the next thing which is annoying the hell out of me is how 90% of all shots seem to come from the wrong foot unless square to the goal.
Messi cutting inside as an example, i managed to skill bast 2 defenders and take a strike ... with his right foot, which was easily saved.

Swap him onto LW Position and all of a sudden he starts shooting with his left foot, which is still saved because the angle is pants!

Just had a few goes earlier. Yeah its a nice update. I like the way the players now head the ball when receiving a through pass. Things like dummies and back heals all look very fluid.
Im not so sure about the keepers rushing out yet, it does seem a little silly. Penalties do need to change though.

I suppose in reality thats what keeper do, if a player is clean through, a keeper will rush to the edge of his box to narrow the angle, it's just lobbing isn't that easy in real life, EA have made it too easy.
Lobbing is so easy 9/10 it works even if the keeper doesnt rush out.
Lobs also look pretty un-realistic compared to IRL which always iirks me.
Guess keepers never go to ground before the ball leaves the foot, unlike real-life, making life-like half lobs a bit pointless.

I don't know if it's timing or something but I've managed to cut in with Messi and score a lot of shots with his left foot.
I think the keepers coming out is good/bad - Surely if the keeper comes out he should charge all the way or just stay in goal? I preferred it in 09 when the keeper would stay in goal unless you made him charge out.
Does anyone else find it easier to keep possession in midfield compared to 09? I think its much better.

I always liked the way in PES you could do a half lob by pressing (I think it was LB or RB) while the power bar was charging up, in the same way you do shot dummies. You could also do normal lobs in the usual way.
i just find it annoying when your not in full control of your players, such as the keepers rushing out.. if i want him to rush out, i'll press triangle 
also when the ball is in defence and you feel you can pass it out, yet the cpu feels the need to hoof it up making you lose possession. this was in 09 though, not played enough 10 to know for sure yet..
