***The Official Fifa 10 Thread***

i hate playing against the CPU in footy games, but the actual game dynamics seem good, hope to get stuck into the demo a bit more tomorrow.

Love the ref just marching in with his cards

Way to easy to do fouls

There are the odd freekicks given for what seems like nothing, however the fact that players jump over more challenges and the improved advantage system means that there are much fewer needless freekicks given, which is good :)

Not enough CPU fouls, several times i've been fully hacked down and the ref has just turned a blind eye.

played the demo last night on 360 and the CPU player fouled me twice to get a red card :D:D

must have been my quick turning that could have influenced it though!

Scoring, heck, even shooting on target, seems a lot harder. Even in the arena. :(

Saying that, I changed to Intermediate today to get practice on goal and won 5-0 with Juventus against Barca.

Agreed I'm an avid 09 player and I consider myself to be pretty good but shooting is definitely less accurate from a distance and they've made 1 on 1 goals slightly harder to finish which tbh was needed.

nice little chip I managed.

I've found it extremely easy to blast over the bar with medium power when shooting whilst running through 1 on 1 with the keeper.
Thats my favourite thing about it - actually shooting on target involves some skill now...

Much more looking forward to Fifa Club now - not everything is guaranteed when on goal anymore...

Yep - especially when Henry cant score Henry-esqe goals by curling it into the far corner of the goal as he used to 9/10 in FIFA 09...

Getting annoyed with the shooting in this game. It's easier to score from 30 yards when surrounded than it is when 1 on 1 with the keeper for some bizarre reason.

I've found using skille dribbling when 1 on 1 with the keeper is the solution.

(both triggers to anyone who hasnt been using it)

Just shift the ball a little with the skilled dribble then shoot, usually finds its way in.

On a side note, im loving the lobbed through balls now if you play them right you can use them to better effect than in 09

Goal I scored using the lobbed through ball and then smashing it in with Ibra
