finally i got my first goal from outside the box on worldclass difficulty:) , it was a half volley into the top left roof of the net from yaya toure but i was offline so could'nt upload:(

i think fifa10 is much better for getting long range goals , i could never score one in 09 as it would always go straight at the kepper
 
I am playing on world class as Barca against the crap team but I can only win like 1-0.

I need lots of practice when this comes out!
 
Hm... can't seem to find my PS3 videos on the EA Sports World site... all the 360 ones are up there... any ideas chaps?
 
It's the FIWC on the PS3, and it's the only one I ever seem to get.

The commentators talk about Stamford Bridge or the Nou Camp in games sometimes but it's always the FIWC :confused:
 
Yeah there's a few nice tweaks with the commentary this year, I'll be honest - the first 2 or 3 games I played I thought it was roughly 80-90% new material... but after playing the demo solidly for the past few days it seems as though there's roughly 15-20% new commentary in it.

It's still enough to make it feel new, but you after playing it a lot you still get..
"It looks like two sides being respectful of each other so far Andy."
"Yeah maybe too..... respectful... it seems like..."

They're not always agreeing with the referee this time which is quite nice, and they don't always say a marginal offside was "clearly offside".
 
Thinking about it, if I'm honest, this is what I think FIFA is currently missing.

  • Quick throws/corners
  • Extra commentary with more variation
  • Officials getting offsides wrong
  • Officials getting fouls wrong (although this sometimes seem to happen now... though not intended).
  • Keepers still need tweaking slightly, it's too easy to lob them now... but they're MUCH better this year
  • Possibly add in dives, I'm not a fan of this in games... but it happens so often in real life it's hard to ignore it.

We'll see what the full game offers in terms of manager mode, this is where I live in FIFA...

Can't think of much more in terms of gameplay I'd like to see added, not off the top of my head anyway.
 
Proper refs need to be added as well.

I've had a few games where they have said "The match official has let things run", it would sound so much better with proper ref names in. I cannot see why they can't get all the refs in the game, it would be immense.
