I have really enjoyed playing this game today. Its been a little bit of a learning curve due to the fact that I have played PES rather than FIFA.

FIFA has been getting a lot of attention so I gave it a try. I have to say that its miles ahead of PES.. I have really enjoyed playing... just need to get to grips with some of the moves.. lots of fun to be had though!!!

does my tree in too, I never play single player, scored some scorcers with Oba Martins , christ newcastle will be bad this year :(
 
I usually just whip my phone out and record decent online goals with the video recorder on that :)

Something which grinds my gears, people who watch ALL the replays available when they score a CRAP goal, or sometimes a penalty! What is the point?
In return they get to see all my replays when I score, plus they get all of the cut scenes and the robot dance celebration because it is EXTRA long.

What does my nut in is at the end of the game, when they watch ALL the highlights without skipping. :mad:

Why did the keeper even jump for that :(

He should have run backwards and attempted to catch it... it's little things like that, that show that the keepers intelligence isn't quite there yet.

edit: Don't get me wrong, they're much better this year and pull off some wonderfully realistic saves, last ditch efforts and double saves but they still have the odd stupid moment
 
Meant to post this the other day and after reading some of the suggestions in this thread I've just remembered. The ONE thing that Fifa needs is the 5 a side indoor hall again. Basically a more realistic Fifa Street.

I think it was Fifa 98 which only had an indoor pitch.
 
tevez is only 82 ? isnt he 85 in 09? how does his player rating go down?

Because he left a team with an excellent chance of winning major honours to go to a team of mercenaries there for just the money who won't win anything big ;)

Im sure I have read that there will be 5 or 6 a side online play.
 
Does anyone squeeze there controller really hard after they shoot? I seem to get really excited. I think its because I make the mistake of thinking I can score.
